Socialism means common ownership: a society in which the world’s natural and productive resources (eg, land and factories) will be held in common.
These resources will be controlled democratically and used sustainably, to produce the things that we all need in to live.
The wealth we produce will belong to us all, so goods will be freely available for anyone to take as needed.
What we envisage is radically different from the way we live now, but it is the only way we can solve the social problems facing us once and for all.
