Once we escape the artificial scarcity of today and we can all contribute to AND benefit from society’s wealth equally and freely, old behaviours and attitudes that trickled down from dog-eat-dog capitalist economics will no longer have any place or indeed make any sense at all.
The lies that we are drip-fed about human nature will seem laughable when we all have free access and the social mechanisms that allow anyone to exercise economic power over anyone else have been thrown away.
BTW, this doesn’t mean we think life will be all happy-clappy, sunny and cuddly in a socialist society.
Friction will be inevitable but there is enough evidence to show that once material needs are met, people get along just fine, without leaders or any form of coercion.
