Party News: Weekend Education Conference

WHAT IS DEMOCRACY?
Islington Branch are organising a weekend Education Conference on this subject on Saturday 1 February and Sunday 2 February 1992. Discussions are planned on:
1. The Psychology of Power
2. Democracy In Socialism
3. How People Used to Make Decisions Before They Invented the Ballot Box
4. The Socialist Attitude to Workers Struggles.
If you have specific knowledge of or interesting ideas on the subject of democracy which you would like other members to hear about and discuss, please could you write them down in a short article and send it to Kerima Mohideen at Head Office, by the end of December and we will make sure they are printed in time for people to react at the education conference.
