All that can be said is that it was the absence of an ethical norm even remotely resembling the Buddha’s vinaya and sîla which was responsible for the transformation of Marxism from the humane, rationalistic and liberating system which Marx sought to create, and the dreary materialistic and authoritarian system it ultimately became in those countries where it was adopted as the official ideology in the twentieth century.

Dave, The conclusion is nonsense though.

A real science and general site I write for, comrades, but in the Provencal language!

    My articles under Anthony Walker.

If you read Spanish or French, the gist isn’t difficult. 🙂

If you don’t speak any of those. The Google browser Translate tool will allow for a rough translation for the general gist. 🙂

The document (a discussion not a policy one) entitled Alternative Models of Ownership advocated workers cooperatives and municipal ownership.

    Interesting and comprehensive document though.

I am not sure about votes for the main parties being marked up, or translated as, for the ‘Remain’ camp. They are not all arrogant treacherous, assholes like Campbell. Votes for SNP, for example, will be mixed pro and anti Brexit and for Labour or Tory’s similar, but loyal to their respective parties, warts and all, in the main.

I usually write ‘WORLD SOCIALISM X‘ across any ballots. It depends how it is laid out, I may sometimes emphasise ‘none of the above’ just to make it clear.

These papers are seen and scrutinised by poll staff and sometimes shown to candidates so making it impossible for any Labourites or lefties etc to claim it is important.

The 10,000th post on the blog:

As if to celebrate, adding here it to our archives has skewed up the front page.

    I’ve sent out an SOS.

Are they calling for a “one-time-only vote for the Brexit party” or simply stating unequivocally that Galloway is correct to call for this? Is there a difference?

No facility to ask them to clarify this either.

I think we would have to get there first. I would go for the lower guestimate. A number of functions in respect of statistic gathering, might still come in handy for calculation of resources needed after the initial overproduction, as we settle down into a steady state system.
