This is Obama’s take on the ‘Left’ Democrats.
US election 2020: Obama issues warning to ‘revolutionary’ Democrats
Former US President Barack Obama has issued a warning to Democratic presidential candidates, cautioning them against policies that are not “rooted in reality”.
Mr Obama said Democrats risked alienating voters if they lurched too far to the left politically.
The former president, speaking at a fundraising event, said most voters didn’t want to “tear down the system”.
Mr Obama is yet to publicly back a Democratic candidate.

PartisanZParticipantRobin,
Keep this thread for Bolivia topic. I think this maybe answers your questions.

and from the ‘Liberal’ Guardian.
PartisanZParticipantThanks for your reply.
I don’t disagree, but there are less than a handful of party members in this Forum at any one time.
I have only just recovered the WSM website and if the companion parties agree, perhaps we can make better use of the Forum on it called Community for all of what you say.
Personally I look to see your own insights on those subjects rather than make my own misinformed opinions.
This topic, ‘Coup In Bolivia backed by the USA’ is better under the ‘General Discussion heading and our present conversation has pushed it to the top.

PartisanZParticipantIt looks like this socialist party is not very interested in world events
No, not so comrade. I have been arguing some of the points you make on here, in other forums with wider readerships.
I know other comrades make similar interventions.

PartisanZParticipantThanks for the direct links.
PartisanZParticipantThe 1931 article in response to letter, provides the quote from Marx in a justification made for contesting elections. In his “Address to the Communist League” he wrote:—
“Even in constituencies where there is no prospect of our candidate being elected, the workers must nevertheless put up candidates in order to maintain their independence, to steel their forces, and to bring their revolutionary attitude and party views before the public.”
PartisanZParticipantThis is our election leaflet for distribution outside the two constituencies that we are contesting (Cardiff Central and Folkestone & Hythe). Election 2019 PDF

PartisanZParticipantI didn’t notice that. I just skimmed it. I copied and posted your exact reply above to them.
PartisanZParticipantLorenza Antonucci and Simone Varriale highlight the UK’s influence over EU supranational policies and explain how Britain contributed to an unequal Europe.
I thought this was an interesting piece, about how Britain’s Thatcher -Blair governments shaped the EU policies which has bitten their backsides with the current flames of Brexit.

PartisanZParticipantMy contribution is a simple rehashing of Robin and Adam’s analyses.
PartisanZParticipantWe are still doing so.
PartisanZParticipantExciting times today as the MPs passed an amendment to delay further the passage of the deal until necessary UK legislation is passed.
The only thing I would say is some anti-worker deregulation measures can now be contested, whether they will succeed is another matter, unless the government manages in forcing the deal through next week. Ho hum.

PartisanZParticipantIt appears to be the case that many commuters and even some supporters of ER are questioning their tactics in respect of the London underground. This clip shows angry travelers reacting.
