We’ll see if my reply, incorporating some of your points, is published.

I’ll hazard a guess. There are more articles on a variety of subjects in the same number of pages.

Sorry, I only just saw your enquiry.

Most of the links into previous Forum discussions are sadly irrecoverable.

I have tried any number of methods using ‘WayBack’ machine and so on.

Using the ‘Search’ facility (Top Right hand) and putting in andrew kliman resulted in the following page being displayed. Not quite what you are looking for, I know.

Latest report from Bolivia speaking of strikes by workers and killing killing by new authorities. From Common Dreams website.

“I am writing from Bolivia just days after witnessing the November 19 military massacre at the Senkata gas plant in the indigenous city of El Alto, and the tear-gassing of a peaceful funeral procession on November 21 to commemorate the dead. These are examples, unfortunately, of the modus operandi of the de facto government that seized control in a coup that forced Evo Morales out of power.

The coup has spawned massive protests, with blockades set up around the country as part of a national strike calling for the resignation of this new government. One well-organized blockade is in El Alto, where residents set up barriers surrounding the Senkata gas plant, stopping tankers from leaving the plant and cutting off La Paz’s main source of gasoline.”

I have incorporated that into my own remarks to upset ‘Guardianistas’ and Polly Toynbee fans.

Yes. Definitely. He visited us in Edinburgh branch a couple of year ago. A nice self effacing  modest sort of bloke. (I thought.)

I had to dig deep myself to find out his previous history and so on. I sent him a couple of articles he had done previously and he was delighted to know they were around.

He is a member of Labour and was supporter of Corbyn here in the UK, before Corbyn almost won the General Election.

‘The constant revolutionising of production, everlasting uncertainty and agitation – all fixed relations are swept away, all that is solid melts into air.’

If that sounds like the non-stop pace of our high-tech modern world – it was actually Karl Marx’s description of capitalism, 170 years ago.

But today’s critics of the onward march of free enterprise are not just confined to the far left – some traditional champions of the market economy are also calling for a rethink.

I could scarcely believe I was reading this on the subtitles to Channel4 news tonight at 7.00 PM.

The content was predictable rubbish though as you can judge for  yourselves from this link.

Adam, I added this onto top of Italian page.

I have live feeds (on Right hand column) from the socialismo-mondiale blog and our own SOYMB and Courier, WSPUS and Socialist Standard MySpace.

I may have to take down the Community Forum unfortunately, or restrict it to WSM and sypmpathisers only, as it is already being targeted by spammers and it is too much work checking and blocking the dozen or so every day, who get through our automated antispam plugins.

Marcos, Thanks for your feedback. I managed to save most of your translations from the original WSM site but I’ll keep in mind your other points. (On a to-do list.)
