The only people I can see benefiting from any of these measures are those who have already fallen foul of the draconian rule tightening in the present welfare system and are without any assisting benefits.
And of course, the capitalist class as a whole if taxation and wage costs were reduced.

Nearly two hundred years ago Percy Bysshe Shelley, famous for powerful, provocative poetry such as Queen Mab, The Masque of Anarchy, The Ode to Liberty, Prometheus Unbound as well as prose writings describing humans’ exploitation of their fellows, felt compelled to write of the cruelty inflicted on livestock:
“How unwarrantable is the injustice and barbarity which is exercised towards these miserable victims. They are called into existence by human artifice that they may drag out a short and miserable existence of slavery and disease, that their bodies may be mutilated, their social feelings outraged. It were much better that a sentient being should never have existed, than that it should have existed only to endure unmitigated misery” (quoted in R D Ryder Animal Revolution).

My argument is that we have to incorporate a vision of socialism much more into our campaigns so that it inspires and that does mean to a certain extent picturing it with broad brush strokes as the late comrade Pieter Lawrence would often do.
No one has a quarrel with that argument. We already do that. We are not promoting vegetarianism though are we? I am not into that shame game though. A big difference to impress an idea into someones head, by being positive and combative. To disabuse them of a foolish notion.
So we already do all of that then with plenty of caveats as our primary focus is on getting rid of the capitalist madhouse and not delivering guilt trips to meat eaters?
We can speculate about some aspects of socialism, such as creating the steady-state, zero-growth economy and explain broadly how that can be accomplished but are we wrong not to be more specific on how it can be achieved through changes in our daily diets.
Or is such conjecture risking deciding a blueprint for socialism.
The class struggle is what you eat? How we recycle? Hogwash. We already make those types of decisions.

Why on earth would these methods transfer into socialism? You are emotionally over egging your pudding.
No one here is denying that we want to end capitalism: poverty, war, etc., so I don’t know what point you are making. That human life warrants dismissal of nonhuman life?
Or is it the same old chestnut, that we don’t care about human misery because we care about nonhuman misery? Funny we’re socialists then, isn’t it?
No it is the old chestnut that we can not do anything about it until we have socialism with production for use and free access commensurate with the humane values which will proceed from this. Your Luxemburg example does not consider that the cruel soldier was under the lash also.
The point is we can not end the miserableness of it without ending capitalism. Your attributing the sentiments of others to us is incorrect.
Any socialist would have the same view here.
I used to wish animals could get revenge, that the dog could bite the man who was mercilessly beating him, that the horse bleeding under the whip could throw off the man tormenting him.
Remembering the eventual butchery of the humans present in that example it was also understandable surely that her priorities could have been seen to be skewed by another individual, we are all different.
The Luxemburg example stands out, as it is of a single vicious soldier who was called to account by another overseer as above, we are all different.
