I’m all for the ‘proletarian logicians’ having power over ‘logic’.

There will not be any proletarians in the classless society.

I can’t separate Marx the polymath, into discreet sections from the philospher, dialectician, anthropologist etc et al.

Fortunately I don’t have to do so from a political standpoint, as we make clear in our A to Z.of Marxism#M

The Socialist Party has made its own contributions to socialist theory whilst combating distortions of Marx’s ideas. In the light of all the above, the three main Marxist theories can be restated as:

    • The political theory of class struggle

    • The materialist theory of history

    • The labour theory of value

These are tools of analysis, which have been further developed and modified by socialists, to explain how the working class are exploited under capitalism. Marxism is not only a method for criticising capitalism: it also points to the alternative. Marxism explains the importance to the working class of common ownership, democratic control and production solely for use and the means for establishing it. And while it is desirable that socialist activists should acquaint themselves with the basics of Marxism, it is essential that a majority of workers have a working knowledge of how capitalism operates and what the change to socialism will mean.

I think the consensus is in error and war escalating from trade wars and other factors is distinct possibility.

Here is some comment about the alternative media’s complicity in muting the Hunter Biden story and the loss of Glen Greenwald to The Intercept an outlet he co-founded in 2014 with the stated mission of holding power to account with the power of unrestricted journalism..

This looks promising for future energy storage form renewable sources.

UK energy plant to use liquid air.

Work is beginning on what is thought to be the world’s first major plant to store energy in the form of liquid air.

It will use surplus electricity from wind farms at night to compress air so hard that it becomes a liquid at -196 Celcius.

Then when there is a peak in demand in a day or a month, the liquid air will be warmed so it expands.

Sometimes it’s two steps forward, one step back.

Yes the last I heard that it was Stalinists in the Communist Party justifying another sell out in a strike.

It is going to be Trump-lite without the big ego.

That is what is was always going to be. What difference would any of them make?

Sanders would have been slaughtered and he knew it, which is why he caved in to Biden..

    AJ – Biden is a one-term president

To be fair Alan, at 78 later this month, that might not be his biggest concern, even if he gets to that point, 👿 👿

His running mate though, is a tough cookie and she could pick up the presidency if he has a fatal medical emergency.

I don’t think the BBC and others will give him the same coverage as a recent actor.

Here is some more Wolffism this time in respect of Cuba’s readjustment of percentage allocations from  state to private, cooperative and state management of its economy.

Well what about them? It is a right can of worms. Any British or other nationalist party such as the Labour Party, can not but support another country’s right to exist warts and all.

All countries seek to influence others. The Israeli lobbying by and large by British citizens, has been most successful.

But American fingerprints have been all over U.K. politics for some time also.

It is like opposing America, Australia, New Zealand etc right to exist, because of the treatment of their indigenous populations, or religious fundamentalist developments within them, by the new ruling colonisers.

We oppose all nationalism including Jewish, Islamicist, Christian versions, but the other political parties especially ‘leftists’ pick and choose.

Being anti-Jewish nationalism (anti-zionist) but not anti-Israel right to exist or anti-Jewish solution, has the ‘riding a horse with two arses’ ring about it.

The fact of a large number of Jews being opposed to Zionism does not negate the facts on the ground, indeed a fait accompli, of the existence of a Zionist solution in the shape of Israel.

“Don’t worry. It’s not going to happen”  ALB

The naive said the same thing about Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, Mussolini, Franco, …

Naive? We were pointing out the impossibility of socialism in Russia in 1918, when you Lefties were prematurely ejaculating in your undergarments. In the 1930’s you were urging against Hitler and then supporting pacts with him.
