For an illustration of how utterly dim & docile the UK “Working Class” are, just watch any episode of “Gogglebox”. This film (well worth watching) was Adam Curtis’ directorial debut.I don’t think there was even a word for same sex desire before the 1870s. Was it Magnus Hirschfeld who invented the word Homosexual?
