ParticipantWell not so good now having read their Mainifesto with the usual list of "solutions" and demands. Still they say they are willing to discuss the "Transition".

ParticipantHaha excellent. Never heard of this group. Don't know what it's all about. Presumably more and more of these groups will start popping up from nowhere. Hope so.

ParticipantThis fuckin thing won't work. I can't even cut and paste a website address on here!

ParticipantA better link to a "Lennonist" (?) movement called "Capitalism is Over (If you want it)". http://capitalismisover.commore and more of these groups now popping up from nowhere it seems including the Bangladeshi group I read about on here.

ParticipantShit it didn't go through. I don't know how to upload an image on this thing.

ParticipantI think it's about the only thing that cunt Lenin said that was right. It probably will take 500 years for workers to achieve class consciousness at the rate things are going. But he was wrong about Trades union consciousness because clearly they can no longer achieve even that.

Participant.

ParticipantFuck maybe he's one of those lizards!

ParticipantWhat I forgot to say was that I was so full of excitement when I watched his Newsnight interview because he appeared to be compleltely real and genuine. But he's an actor at the end of the day. He might even end up like Glenda Jackson. With that Miliband shit he burst the bubble. Big style. I think he's being told what to say.

ParticipantHello Vin. Yes mate I have read the whole jumble on Kindle. I would say he's 60% there. But for me that might as well be 6% or 0.6% or even 0.06% cos even 90% is still too far in the distance. I was hyperventilating when I saw him thrash Paxman (and then Evan Davis…did anyone see that?) but now it's just that sickening feeling of disillusionment. I agree the party shouldn't go "look at us look at us " to these people. But it's either that or languishing in obscurity for another 111 years because people like Brand will never approach the party. Probably never.
Ozymandias
ParticipantAnd there's no way Brand holds 90% of the party case in his head. Who knows, perhaps he's been told to simmer down or maybe he's been used as a puppet for the owning class all along.

ParticipantMate we are brainwashed in Capitalism from day one of life. How different it would be if along with the colossal bourgeois media empire there existed a parallel universe of Socialist media. School books, university courses, TV shows, current affairs, movies, books, radio shows, art, music…all about socialism. Mate you are talking as if all the worlds workers for the last 200 hundred years are completely clued up with Socialism and they are just self sobaotaging by not going for it. The majority of the 99% have just never ever heard an alternative put forward as a contrast to the shit we are all dished up every day. The mode of capitalist indoctrination is vast and utterly all encompassing…on all levels overt and covert, perceptible and subliminal. We've also been living in some form of private property society for about 10,000 years (or something) so many attitudes are hot wired into us. However there's more and more anger and dissatisfaction now. Btw the guy (Lbird?) who lumped the SPGB in with all the other arseholes calling themselves socialists is wrong. The SPGB has never bulshitted a worker in its 111 year history. It's is the anthithesis of bullshit mate. You're the bullshit artiste.

ParticipantAlbeit a very enlightened one.

ParticipantDidn't think much of his song about Mayday. Like many pop/rock singers his diction was appaling . Just couldn't make out what he was singing about. And to use William Morris' Walthamstow mansion as a backdrop kind of defeats the purpose. Morris was a Mine Owner and a Capitalist at the end of the day.
