At 12.43pm yesterday (20 September) I posted a message to this thread to which DJP responded five minutes later. My message never appeared.
I reported this to the Forum Admin shortly afterwards but have yet to receive the courtesy of a reply!

And I don’t know why this forum permits innumerable (and therefore monopolising) posts from any one particular individual. AFAIK most forums set a daily limit on the number of times a user can post.

Once again, Robbo can’t comprehend why anybody would want to resist an invader who wants to subjugate them by surrendering their independence to an imperialist autocrat who will likely kill them if they resist. He can only believe that they fight over “a tacky piece of cloth on a flagpole somewhere” or what ALB calls “rags at the end of a pole”.
Very well said, pgb. You’ve certainly hit a nerve! But take good care. Any conceivable excuse will be used to censor (nuke – how disgusting, coming from a so-called ‘socialist’!) any opinion which is perceived to deviate from the ‘party’ line.

What on earth are you going on about? Reference was being made to the transition from Feudalism to Capitalism where the overwhelming majority, the peasantry, had no say in the matter.
