Just to clarify – You have presented a case to the EC in the belief that the EC has the authority to permamently ban a party member from all forums?Where do you think power lies in the SPGB? Have youinformed. Vin or Vin's branch of your attempt to permenently ban him from expressing an opinion on the forums. Should you not present a charge to either the individual concerned or to the individual's branch?
In a capitalist court an idividual receives a charge and is tried in PUBLIC with a jury of peers. He recieves the evidence against him/her of which the public are made aware of and is allowed to present a defence. This is not fit to be likened to a Kangaroo courtCharges should be clearly stated on a section of this forum for all to see , evidence presented and the right to a defence. This backdoor secret activity is an embarrassment to the movement and action detrimental to the interests of this partyThe actions of the IC ignore the basic tenents of medieval justice. May I congratuate the cowards on spintcom for having a pop at Vin when he cant defend himself because the same cowards have him banned from forums. What is wrong, can these members not stand up to logic? And instead hide behind it by referring to it as 'abuse'. Present your evidence or leave him to get on with his work.
While I am on the subject. How long do you intend to ban Comrade Vin Maratty from all party forums without giving clear evidence of why you are doing it and by clear evidence I do not mean assertions and accusations ??Is evidence not required any more in the party? Or are just mumbles and lies sufficient?Socialists still require evidence?Or is it 'disruptive' to question?

An embarassment to our movement as is this forumIt seems that attacks on cde Colborne and Maratty are allowed but responses are 'incendiary'. Can we have some balance here and allow vin to defend himself?
