just on the issue of nationalism – whilst I suppose I disfavour it in principle, history shows that the “national problem” doesn’t always vanish under different versions of Marxism/Socialism and as a mobilizing force it is incredibly powerful (obvious example is India’s epic struggle against British rule of course) as history also attests to:
