Knew you'd say that! Dunno if Holloway represents autonomism or whether a decade is a fair assessment. I don't think it will go anywhere, but I think autonomism is wrong and futile.
jondwhiteParticipantbrilliant spot, if the mods can change the subject title of this topic to include the details, title, location and date. Speakers for the motionRobin BlackburnLeverhulme Fellow at the University of Essex. A former editor of the New Left Review, where he has written on the collapse of Soviet Communism and the credit crunch of 2008. His most recent books include Marx and Lincoln: the Unfinished RevolutionTristram HuntHistorian, Labour MP and author of The Frock-Coated Communist: The Revolutionary Life of Friedrich EngelsSo which is it? Is Marx the voice we should be heeding? Or are his modern day apostles resuscitating a late Victorian corpse whose main contribution to human affairs has been the Soviet gulag? Whatever your view, there’s going to be a fierce battle over his legacy at the RGS on April 9th 2013. Be sure to join in.

jondwhiteParticipantAppreciated, good work. I will give the online info on public transport a gander. Penge here I come.
jondwhiteParticipantjondwhiteParticipantAh yes, booked Travelodge Crystal Palace and will be walking or using public transport. Thanks for the info.Surely one event can be listed on the calendar under one entry but as having a duration over multiple days?
jondwhiteParticipantNice one – just booked. I will need a Zone 1 to 3 day travelcard now though! Is there a technical reason why there are two links for conference in the calendar?
jondwhiteParticipantI agree with JH and don't think this Editorial Committee reply should have been made. I will try and raise this in my branch too.
jondwhiteParticipantIDOOP documents have been published since the meeting at ULU yesterdayhttp://cpgb.org.uk/home/weekly-worker/online-only/idoop-faction-caucus-agenda-and-documentsI think IDOOP is a faction consisting of members of former faction Democratic Opposition (and possibly members of former faction Democratic Centralism) and excludes the CC and NC loyalists.
jondwhiteParticipantI hope so too. The respective record of coverage in the mass media would suggest otherwise.
jondwhiteParticipantYeah cause that worked for Jodie Marsh getting onto Jonathan Ross didn't it. I think it would be met with a polite don't call us, we'll call you.
jondwhiteParticipantAny surprises that they didn't invite the party to the complaint about Stephanie Flanders?
