ParticipantYou're right, internet communications could be more damaging.

ParticipantI would have thought orthodox trotskyists would have seen unorthodox trotskyists as soft non-revolutionaries. From recollection of WSWS, this seemed to be the view of SEP on Cliffite and Grantite groups etc.

ParticipantPutting forward even personal views contrary to party agreed policy as if it were the agreed party policy from the platform of party meetings, or printed publications, stalls, pamphlets etc. would seem to be action detrimental. But in the context of pub talk, private e-mails, private letters, internet forum or internet comments or questions are surely to be distinguished from the above. The party case is indifferent to law, including but not limited to that we do not offer our support to upholding the laws of the land.

ParticipantJust to say this topic has become very interesting.

ParticipantAn academic point perhaps, but aren't all unorthodox trotskyists dismissed as reformists by orthodox trotskyists?

ParticipantNot as bad as I hoped, and the interviewee seemed too keen to appeal to authority (PhD, scholarly work etc.) – but at least the interviewer from Fox could have read the first few pages of the book rather than Muslim-baiting.

ParticipantFor me the highlights were the workshop on the term 'comrade', the film and the social.

Participantthanks for the report. A stall will be overkill next year if there is another Marxism Festival.there is a report of an incident via urban75, not sure if this is the same alleged assault retweeted by leninology (richard seymour)http://howiescorner.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/the-swp-wont-call-police-over-alleged.htmlthere is also a piece herehttp://bloggingjbloggs1917.wordpress.com/2013/07/13/occupy-marxism/
