Corbyn's speech to the CBI seemed to have been given little attention.http://press.labour.org.uk/post/167193240854/jeremy-corbyn-speech-at-the-cbi-annual-conference

    Quote:
When too much of household income is going to pay debts or rent, that’s less money for consumers to spend on productive businesses. That’s why Labour backs a Real Living Wage and sensible controls on rents and debts.Because it isn’t good for business either.

Rent and interest are essential for business.

    Quote:
Again, I echo Carolyn; if we are to raise wages and living standards we must solve our productivity crisis. And it is a crisis. It continues to take a worker in Britain five days to produce what a worker in France or Germany produces in four.
    Quote:
Because every one of you in this room who knows what goes into seeing an idea brought to market or what it takes to survive the cut and thrust of consumer choice month to month, knows that privatised monopoly utilities are not real markets. Where’s the pressure for efficiency and innovation if consumers cannot go elsewhere when they are dissatisfied?I know some of you disagree and think that bringing some parts of the economy into public ownership won’t be good for the reputation of business, but it’s not good for the image of business when water companies pay out billions in dividend and interest payments through opaque financial arrangements, while households see their bills go up to pay for it.

On November 7, 1917, the first workers' state was born out of a popular uprising. For a long century, socialists have looked back at the October Revolution — sometimes with rose-colored glasses, sometimes to play at simplistic counterfactual. But sometimes for good reason. After all, exploitation and inequality are still alive and well amid plenty. Even knowing how their story ended, we can learn from those who dared to fight for something better.   Today, one hundred years after the fact, we remember both the triumph and tragedy of the October Revolution.Take a look at our recent series on the Russian Revolution, which includes China Miéville, Alexander Rabinowitch, and others. So far entries have been translated into Chinese, Dutch, Farsi, French, German, Greek, Italian, Korean, Kurdish, Portuguese, Spanish and, of course, Russian. We're also offering $19.17 print gift subscriptions all day to mark the occasion. Get one for a friend! (Since the price is below costs for us, it doesn't apply to renewals.)

    Any volunteers?

Were any volunteers able to come forward for these? Also which publications have the Media Commitee contacted, so other more obscure ones can be contacted by myself without fear of duplication.

300 copies and yes it was the wisest choice since the Russian Revolution is still a huge barrier to socialism or else the CPB and SWP wouldn't still exist. That's not to say 100% reserve banking or nationalism can't be submitted to publications, feel free to write a draft, in fact there is one pending suggested publication under current consideration. As for simply uploading the files for Kindle, my understanding is the formatting is different in many ways from print, so much more detail is required on suggestions to publish on Kindle.

Is a hyperlinked table of contents linked to each article going to have an adverse effect on sales when published within a week of it going on sale?
