if the people allowed (for they have the power to change things with their consumer spend) for it to happen, then wealth would get redistributed.but it'll be the people that decide with their spending power so if you spend on state manufactured and produced goods and services then the profit goes back into your schools, pays for your education, the NHS, local community art centres, to the vulnerable and those in need of support.  the state, if the people let it, would get richer and richer.i also believe in being self sufficient as a nation where possible.  as keynes, the economist, said later in his life when he wrote a paper about national self sufficiency where reasonable.

A state owned profit making enerprise is big business.I was a miner when the mines were owned by the state. If we went on strike for safer working conditions, the state starved us back to work and its uniformed bully boys beat us with trungeons.State owned enterprises are owned collectively by the ruling class and run in its interests"The executive of the modern state is but a committee for managing the common affairs of the whole bourgeoisie."Marx

but i don't see what the problem initially is with making profit for the common good. surely the ruling classes won't like it? surely it will be for the people and not the richest?

I don't like to say the word hate I don't want hate to be my fate but sometimes I really hate all the people who themselves hate all the people that are rich and famous beyond measure but I know that don't make me clever but sometimes I hate the stupid planks the ignorant thick useless wanks who aint got the class to know better and who just couldn't be any wetter than to shout get the rich bastards and no wes I'm not bloody plastered! the stupid ****ing morons get em to all suck some bonbons so their teeth get glued together with that sticky orrible texture then they'll have to all be silent and then I can make them more compliant cos the truth is its not their money and fame that makes a person the one to blame its a system that that keeps people down so if there's anything to cause a frown it should be the rules that a gung ho capitalist state has laid down so heavy we all feel their weight heavy on our shoulders, the burdensome effect of the giant corporations, we need to correct the constraints of big business that keep us from being equal and respectful and so thus we must let our side grow in comparison to the big corporates and reverse the corrosion the state is there for the people or should be so it needs to be fully functioning so that we can stand up and be counted, so let our state grow and develop into being for us before its too late I know this stupid poem is crap ok? but I'm tired and goin to bed now, so I gues that's it for now.

Engels saw state capitalism as providing the tools for socialism. state capitalism in a captialist society has never been tried before where it is purely for profits that are churned directly back into the system for the common good. i do not mean forced takeovers…… please if you will Vin, can you give me an example of state owned profit making enterprise competing against big business.thanks if you can, very much appreciated mate. cheers.

i know the loneliness, i know how it feels, to cry amongst the emptiness, your soul suffering as it reels in an agony all by yourself i'm glad that we met as we comfort and understand food for the soul was meant to give us a helping hand

just had a little trip in my head just a blip a glimpse of what could be when the fat cats grab all the money then kill everyone else left with nothing the thought of what it could all bring when only the richest are left as they consider themselves so deft laughing in the face of the dead we've turned it round on its head! cos we're all bloody rich now! it really doesn't matter how! there aint a poor person in sight cos they've all now met their plight. oh yes socialism is alive! for now it can begin to thrive! haha

How would Socialism be established?Socialism can only become possible when a majority are aware of its implications, want it and are prepared to work for it peacefully and democratically. Socialism can not be forced upon people. As its establishment depends upon majority understanding and a global democratic effort to bring it to fruition, we envisage people the world over using their votes to elect socialist candidates to political office. Once enough Socialists had been elected to office this would be a clear signal that a majority wanted socialism. HAHAHA good luck on that then.  There are no socialist parties that will cut it. it seems to me we're waiting for uttter devastation first in the hope that people will give us a vote in desperation as capitalism has caused such utter suffering. i'd rather not wait til then thanks.  I'd rather be a bit more forward thinking of the hear and now.
