Sent. My vote would be casted in the Labour stronghold of Yardley, Jess Phillips office is round the corner from my flat. Yuck
JClark96ParticipantClearly targeting people based on their age or material wealth completely misses the point. This is all a result of capitalist politicians promoting home ownership at a particular point, to counter collective action and so on. The ramifications of this change over time, and now it is the individualised middle aged strata that look after their keep by letting out properties etc. After all, it makes logical individualistic sense what with the low interest rates. You can’t target older people for this on a moral basis, were all part of the working class, and the whole purpose of promoted home ownership and cheap mortgages is to individualise and to pitch us against in each other. Splitting class into age and so forth .
JClark96ParticipantPersonally, I do think there’s a big difference between voting for Leave in the referendum and voting for the Brexit Party in these elections.
I would say that those who voted to leave with a view for the political situation that has ensued have been vindicated to a degree.
That doesn’t necessarily make said voter a euroskeptic or a “Lexiteer”, though of course the aforementioned parties would very much embrace these titles I am sure.
As such I would say that such a vote has more in common with abstention or spoiling (this is preferable relative to the former) now, than it does with directly endorsing the Utopia Britannia message in a party based election.
It has to be said, those advocating voting for the Brexit Party truly have lost the plot, not that they had a grasp of it in the first place

JClark96ParticipantI think a lot of the divide is based on the housing market. It’s often seen as homeowners and landlords versus those who have to rent
JClark96ParticipantWas going to say.
That’ll be the Celebrity Big Brother effect. Perhaps one of us should go on it?
JClark96ParticipantTo me it just sounds like they can’t resist the temptation of ticking a box, that and they can’t be bothered to field the candidates.
600,000 followers? For the Communist Party Marxist-Leninist?
That’d make them far larger than others in terms of online presence.
JClark96ParticipantCould be worthwhile .as they have a lot more followers presently
JClark96ParticipantOkay
All I mean really is, the Facebook and Twitter page could do posts (just like a normal one) with a link to the Instagram page, urging people to follow on Instagram, as well as Twitter and/or Facebook (which they will already follow, to have seen the respective posts)
JClark96ParticipantAlso I can change the account details to mirror the Twitter page
The Socialist Party
@officialspgb?
P.S just got our first share of a “story” by a follower

JClark96ParticipantWhat about the Instagram page itself. I mean implore existing followers on those platforms to also follow on Instagram?
As FB and Instagram are linked I think that’d be especially good on the Facebook page that is visible to the public

JClark96Participantthink it would be a good idea to share the page on the Facebook or Twitter account?
JClark96ParticipantTypo when setting up the email address for Instagram. It’s jamesclarkpspgb@gmail.com
Or try
JClark96ParticipantAny way of promoting insta page via the Facebook account ??
JClark96ParticipantBrilliant
