I was looking in a Waterstones bookshop window,  on Camden High Street.  I let out a few choice  expletives, after seeing Luis Suarez, (the 'biting' football player)  book there. Whatever. Thomas Piketty's book was also there, so I went in to see how much it costs. Fuck me,  you have to be a member of the capitalist class, to buy it, £29.95!  Russell Brands book, the cover price is £20, they are giving a discount of £4,  atm.

George Galloway has claimed the  Guardian (and its sister paper, the Observer , which supported the Iraq war) has blood on their hands (the Guardian has taken money?) on his Twitter account. Didn't Galloway  support Saddam?! Galloway was in a party that supported wars!  Has he suddenly found his principles, and denounced the Labour Party?  Cameron said: "we should give Syrian rebels arms".   BBC says,  ISIS leader, has $1bn!

Truth about Gaza that BBC Tried to Suppress (Norman Finkelstein)Published on 14 Jul 2014Unfortunately the BBC refuses to post the interview on its English website, after an explicit promise to do so (possibly due to the fact that Finkelstein accuses the BBC (and the British government) of covering up for Israeli crimes). http://youtu.be/yC2s6eMU3IA

This was kept 'secret', there was another 'fund raising dinner', this week, which was also 'secret'.Why the secrecy?  I'd like to know who attended these, rather than a list,  of what was on the menu.  Gusaling  down fine foods and drink, while 500.000 people are having to use food banks.

Tory child abuse whistleblower: 'I supplied underage rent boys for Margaret Thatcher's cabinet ministers'  In a series of explosive claims about conferences at Blackpool and Brighton in the 1980s, he alleges boys as young as 15 indulged in alcohol and cocaine before they had sex with the powerful politicians. He says one person who attended a party is a current serving minister.Others said to be present at the parties included Keith Joseph, Rhodes Boyson, Dr Alistair Smith and Michael Havershttp://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/tory-child-abuse-whistleblower-i-3848987#ixzz37wUk38Mq

My bad. I only heard about the SWP rapes on here. I didn't know that the DM had covered the story.  Thanks for the link(s).

The newspaper,  that the current owners,  great grandfather supported the Nazi's. The newspaper, that is anti-semitic. Where is the DM apology? I think it is the case here, that yet again the DM, has sort to attack genuine Socialism. Partly the reason for making this post.I notice unlike us, the DM, takes no interest whatsoever of the rape of a member(s) in the SWP, and subsequent cover up, by the leaders. When the thread about the SWP and rape of a  member(s), was made,( 'swp not welcome'') no such concern was voiced about  wide spread hunger and starvation of children?I'm not sure about this?

Nazi military leader Hermann Göring blamed everybody but himself too, at his trial at the Nuremberg Trials  for War crimes.I have seen the images of the killing of Iraqi Government solders, and I watched a video posted on the Web,  of a handful of caputured  Iraqi soldiers being excuted, by ISIS militia.I know that this video has upset lots of people on social media. I was kind of wondering what (my) Socialists response should be?

I was called a member  of the "….. party of …. …." by the Militant member (who has their logo as his profile picture) which is used by as a term of abuse trots?! In reply, I said: to call someone a reformist was an insult once, not now, it's become a badge of honour"!I have pointed out in a few posts, their (Militant)  utter dishonesty,  in calling themselves the Socialist Party, when a Socialist Party already exists! Of course, and that they had nothing whatsoever to do with socialism! All good, I was a user on  another site, and to mention Socialism, resulted in lengthy diatribes, on why millions die of starvation in Africa, and I could do  nothing ever to change it?! From an angry elderly user. The site owners policy of mutual respect, no  intectual abuse or personal  insults, and no flaming, was ignored, with he's "old"?  I did get a few posts in agreement.
