I can’t help thinking that these problems are responsible for the fewer numbers of participants. I read but rarely attempt to post.
One unresolved problem for me is that whatever i try i cannot unsubscribe from follow up replies to this thread.
Positive/ negative, Scottish/alien – we have all mind-sets to contend with/appeal to. It seems to me it’s a matter of presenting facts however we can, in whatever style, language, format . . . . ultimately it’s the same massage –
capitalism or socialism

To return to the original question:
What about black poppies? – Black for death, for that is what war is. Black symbolises so much that is negative. Sad to say though it seems a majority of populations in large parts of the globe are somehow disconnected from even knowing where wars are currently being waged, even or especially when they are being waged and/or supported by their own politicians. As long as it’s ‘not here’ you don’t need to think about it too much.

Watched a little of the performance in Paris today – those so-important leaders showing us just how cynical they are. How many wars are presently current, and how much are the arms companies profiting year on year.

I’ve spent hours over days trying to get in to the forum and here I am , with nothing to say – except, having read the previous comments on this thread, I would only be repeating others’ frustrations.
Now I’ve found my way in I need a long rest and just hope I’ll get it right when i have another go tomorrow.

Washington changes him. However Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seems to be changing before she even gets on the bus. Looks like she was made by the fake progressive group called the Democratic Socialists of America and had to cut a deal with them to curb her anti-war stance to get their neoliberal water-carrying assistance. As David Swanson told her in a Tweet, she better forget that deal and take up her previous position on the endless wars of aggression or the REAL LEFT is going to let her go on her own from here on out.
Thanks – but seems like it's not possible now anyway, and, quite frankly, is it a bother for anyone to get a long link compared with a short link? I don't know the answer to that but I do know a lot more clicking is needed to change a long link into a short one and then put it on here!

Hi Marcos, There are 4 of us on the publications committe – 1 in UK, 1 in Spain and 2 in Turkey.I believe most of the committees do their work and their communicating via the internet. You'd surely be an asset to one or other of the committees short of members.Go for it!
