I know that is a bit complicated for your binary thought processes. Think about it this way –
Person A living in 1942 does not like the policies and actions of Stalin, Stalin is at war with Hitler, this does not mean that person A is a Nazi
Person B living in 1940 also does not like the policies and actions of Stalin, Stalin is in a supportive alliance supplying large amounts or raw materials and armaments to Hitler, this does not necessarily mean that person B is an anti Nazi
Do you get someone else to do the little mathematical problem required to log on to this forum? It’s just nothing you have posted on this forum indicates that you have the intellectual ability to actually complete the process independently.
Oh and by the way Britain is the name of the country, (always singular as there is only one Britain) the people who live there may sometimes be referred to as Britons, but never Britains

ALB – It’s why of course we are confident that “human nature” doesn’t make socialism impossible, as the genetic determinists claim.
I think it is important that we challenge the genetic determinists with their own argument. Our genetics determine that the first thing we experience (as do all mammals to some extent) is the experience of cooperative care giving. The mammalian solution to the survival conundrum is to care for and nurture our offspring. The most notable feature of our genetic inheritance and human existence is mass cooperation, it is so common that we often don’t even see it.
As to instinct, our first and overwhelming instinct is to cooperate and to be nurtured, the initial 3 years of our existence is based on the interdependency of others and learning to be part of a social grouping, our second instinct is to be inquisitive and to learn. Instinct and learning are intertwined part of human development. The “human nature” argument, is one we should use, it is capitalism which is contrary to human nature to cooperate and nurture, not socialism.

I must contest this ALB. Human instinct is far more important in the development of personality, cognition, relationships, etc. than you give it credence. The crude Skinnerist idea that human behaviour is nothing but a collection of leaarned behaviours was trashed many, many years ago.
A quick scan through Attachment Theory will show that pre programmed human instincts have a massive interplay with individual human development. The nature v nurture debate is the wrong debate, the way we develop is based on how nurture responds to nature and how nature responds to nurture.

I think we all owe a duty of respect to AJ and the difficult work that he (voluntarily) undertakes in the role of moderator.
We all know the rules, we all know what goes beyond the pale. I will happily hold my hands up and acknowledge that sometimes I have pushed the boundaries, sometimes we need to have a think before posting in anger.
The site sometimes attracts “trolls” reacting to them gives them the oxygen they need to keep them trolling.
The fact that some people continue to post provocative comments and try to rile others, is a demonstration of the sadness and emptiness of their lives. Why on Earth would you continue to post garbage like that, to the website of a party you clearly have no time for, if it was not the case?

I’ve been wearing my lucky 1904 “Jack Fitzgerald long johns” continuously without washing since 1982 and they don’t seem to be creating Socialist. They create a terrible stink, but not too many socialists!

As I have asked you to explain how would a multipolar world be an advantage to workers as opposed to a unipolar world? I have pointed out to you that for the majority of capitalisms existance the world has been multipolar.
All you have come up with is an uncovincing diatribe from a quasi Trotskyist professor from a third rate US university who thinks that Minneapolis was controlled by Trotskyists.
