Thanks Bijou, thats what I’ve leaned to my whole life. And yes, I’ve found too how “that human beings are more than capable of cooperating and working in the common interest of other.” It’s only that those who can’t or don’t want to, dominate.
Too simplistic Marquito, it matters very much what you do for 40 years. Waiting to retire would be a waste of time and life.
admiceParticipantOK, thanks and valid point
admiceParticipantUndermining the dollar undermines the US go’vt, a huge agent in global suffering and support, of course, of capitalism.
How disappointing that you don’t care. I think that’s what happened the last time I connected with you. I realized you had such detachment. You forgot the whole motivation for Marx writing .
admiceParticipantI AM for reforms and palliative measures until we can replace capitalism and public banking is a good one. Yes, they all hit the limits of operating in a (militant) capitalist system as ALB wrote.
admiceParticipantI had hoped, when it first came out, that bitcoin would undermine the dollar (always a good thing) and still have some hope the Chinese proposal to use a combo currency based upon the yen, dollar, Euro takes root.
admiceParticipantO, please tell me you all do have tables or hand out pamphlets, etc. at events (like Earth Day, but that don’t limit it to environmental groups) like farmers markets, street fairs, book fairs. Simple, cheap. Or march with a banner in like, gay pride parades, etc. Several groups I’m involved with do it.
And stop arguing so much with each other, children. 🙂
admiceParticipantO, I got it again from Gutenberg for free in a FB reader format, which has not, so far, disappeared. I also have it on my cpu, but like to read it on the train.

August 1, 2019 at 9:59 am in reply to: Can you recommend a good revision of Das Capital that is not so tedious? #189192admiceParticipantthanks! It’s not hard, just tedious. I jumped to the last part and still found it belabored points. I’ll check out the recommendations. Eventually I will slog through the original.

A broad definition (tho not a disingenuous one) would be fine. I can always disagree about it with them, just want ppl with a more immediate exchange of ides than a forum or BB

admiceParticipantHe's realistic about what might be done and at least will show up politicians as not really wanting to improve things.
