PREVIOUS MINUTES/ERRORS & OMISSIONS:                 

                Previous minutes read.  M Gribble moved the previous minutes be accepted, 2^nd T Lovatt.

DISCUSSION ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES:

1.            Website – need a SFTP to log on to WSPNZ website

2.            Face TV – ads are currently showing on Face TV.  First ad went to air on Sunday 29 September.  Next ads showing on Monday 7^th October, Tuesday 15^th October, Wednesday 23^rd October, Thursday 31^st October, Friday 8^th November, Saturday 16^th November, between 6pm – 11pm.  Comment received from a viewer who saw the ad on Face TV.

3.            T Lovatt will send address for Bruce Milne to M Grayson.

CORRESPONDENCE:      

1.            Socialist Party of Canada – newsletter for October received via email.

2.            SPGB Internet Committee – email sent asking for assistance on WSPNZ website and SFTPs.

C Matene moved the incoming correspondence be accepted and the outgoing correspondence be endorsed, 2^nd M Gribble.

LITERATURE SECRETARY’S REPORT:

                Socialist Standards arrived yesterday and will be posted to subscribers as soon as possible.

TREASURER’S REPORT: 

M Gribble presented and moved the treasurer’s report be accepted and any outstanding accounts to be paid, 2^nd J Ryder.

GENERAL BUSINESS:

1.            Discussion about advertising in the Auckland and Wellington telephone directories.  Renewal date is due soon.  Once the new website is relocated the telephone directory listing can be discontinued.  M Gribble moves a motion to discontinue the WSPNZ listing in the Auckland and Wellington telephone directories after the WSPNZ website is relocated to http://www.worldsocialism.org/nz.  T Lovatt 2^nd the motion.  All members present are in favour of the motion.  No votes against the motion.  Motion accepted.
