WORLD SOCIALIST PARTY (NEW ZEALAND) – General Administrative Committee Meeting held via telephone at 51 Weymouth Road, Manurewa and 15 Tanera Crescent, Wellington   DATE:                                    Sunday 1st December 2013.   CHAIRPERSON:                 M Grayson.  Moved M Gribble, 2nd T Lovatt.   OPEN:                                   2:15pm.   PRESENT:             (Committee)      A Coombs, M Grayson, M Gribble, T Lovatt, C Matene.                                 (Members)         G Coffey, V Lovatt.            APOLOGIES:                       None.   PREVIOUS MINUTES/ERRORS & OMISSIONS:        Previous minutes read.  M Grayson moved the minutes be accepted as true and correct, C Matene 2nd, all in favour, previous minutes accepted.   DISCUSSION ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES:   1.            No reply from internet committee yet. 2.            No address for B Milne yet.   CORRESPONDENCE:   1.            Complimentary copy of the Imagine publication received from the Socialist Party of Canada. 2.            Newsletter received from the Zen group. 3.            Socialist Party of Canada – newsletter for December received via email.                   M Grayson moved the correspondence be accepted, 2nd C Matene.  Correspondence accepted.   LITERATURE SECRETARY’S REPORT:   1.            Socialist Standards have not arrived yet. 2.            Subs from Joe Fleetwood have been received.   NEW NOTICE OF MOTION:   1.            M Grayson moved that the World Socialist Party (India) be reinstated as members of the World Socialist Movement, 2nd M Gribble.  All present in favour.  Motion carried.  Send email to The Socialist Party with the WSPNZ decision in favour of the WSP(India) being readmitted into the WSM.   TREASURER’S REPORT:   M Gribble presented the treasurer’s report.  Term investments mature in January 2014.  Transfer $1000 into bonus bonds making $3000 total in bonus bonds.  M Gribble moved the treasurer’s report be accepted and any outstanding accounts be paid, 2nd C Matene.  All present in favour.  Treasurer’s report accepted.   GENERAL BUSINESS:   1.            Zeitgeist representative may be attending today at 3pm. 2.            Advertising on Face TV is still running. 3.            WSPNZ GAC meeting dates for 2014 as follows:  January 5th, February 2nd, March 2nd, April 6th, May 4th, June 1st, July 6th, August 3rd, September 7th, October 5th, November 2nd, December 7th.   NEXT MEETING:                                Sunday 5th January 2014.                                               CLOSED:               2:37pm.
