REPORT OF THE PROCEEDING OF THE SPRING SCHOOL & TWENTY SECO9ND ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE WORLD SOCIALIST PARTY (INDIA) HELD AT HEAD OFFICE, 5 & 6 MARCH 2016:

 

• SPRING SCHOOL: Saturday, 5^th March, 2 PM to 7 PM (with breaks):

(called to order at 2.35 PM)

 

– Participants: Binay Sarkar, Sambhupada Nag, Dipankar Roy, Hari Sadhan Ghosh, Sumitra Mondal, Pradip Kumar Singha, Indrani Mazumder, Raghu Narayan Chaudhuri.

 

– Chairperson: Hari Sadhan Ghosh

 

– B. Sarkar welcomed comrades.

 

• B. Sarkar initiated reading and discussion on the schiduled subject:

Manifesto of the World Socialist Party (India) March 1995

• Reading and discussion continued until closure at 7 PM (having a tea break from 5 PM to 5.45 PM).

 

• TWENTY SECOND ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2016: Sunday, 6^th March, 2.45 PM to 6.25 PM (with breaks):

 

– Present: Sambhupada Nag,, Hari Sadhan Ghosh, Pradip Kumar Singha, Binay Sarkar, Sumitra Mondal, Raghu Narayan Chaudhuri, Dipankar Roy

 

– Chairperson: Sumitra Mondal

 

● Sambhupada Nag was asked to read out the World Socialist Party (India) Rules.

– Note: he was given this responsibility since originally it was he who had drafted the document in 1995 for the Party.

 

 Annual Party Vote:

– Nominated and uncontested:

General Secretary: Binay Sarkar

Treasurer: Pradip Kumar Singha

Auditor: Hari Sadhan Ghosh

Head Office Organizer: Sumitra Mondal

 

– MSC: Agreed.
