REPORT OF THE PROCEEDING OF THE AUTUMN SCHOOL & MEMBERSHIP MEETING OF THE WORLD SOCIALIST PARTY (INDIA) HELD AT HEAD OFFICE, NOVEMBER 3 – 4, 2018

AUTUMN SCHOOL 2018: Saturday, November 3, 2 PM to 7 PM (having a tea break): [Before calling to order there was a discussion in some details on some questions about the WSM perspectives asked by Dr. Partha Pratik Mukherjee.]

(Called to order at 4:00 PM)

–     Participants: Hari Sadhan Ghosh, Binay Sarkar, Pradip Kumar Singha, Prasanta Kumar Mondal, Partha Pratik Mukherjee, Sumitra Mondal and Raghu Narayan Chawdhuri

Chairperson: Sumitra Mondal

Binay Sarkar welcomed the AMM.

Then he began reading and speaking on the written text: Road-map to Socialism supported with time to time explanations, elaborations and discussions on the salient points raised particularly by Partha Pratik Mukherjee with permission of the Chairperson.

There was a tea break from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM

AUTUMN MEMBERSHIP MEETING: Sunday, November 4, 2018

(Called to order at 3:00 PM)

–     Present: Hari Sadhan Ghosh, Binay Sarkar, Prasanta Kumar Mondal, Pradip Kumar Singha and Sumitra Mondal

–     Dr. Partha Pratik Mukherjee (attendee)

      Chairperson: Hari Sadhan Ghosh

–     Since the reading of the articles – Road-map to Socialism, Joy of freedom, Human Relationship in Socialism and From Planetary community to Universal Community – remained unfinished in the School the meeting resumed the reading and discussion from where the discussion was postponed.

Tea break: 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM

–     Then the meeting began again having taken up Babit Kinger’s second membership application sent via email. His answers to the Questionnaire written in Hindi were read and found to be satisfactory.

–     MSC: That we accept Babit Kinger as a member of the World Socialist Party (India) with effect from 08-09-2018 – his first application date.

–     Dr. Partha Pratik Mukherjee (Kolkata) has bought some of our books and pamphlets (Rs. 1,200.00) and received the Membership Application Form which he agreed to submit in our forthcoming EC meeting on the next Sunday, 11 November 2018.
