Some have shed tears from my pessimistic suggestion that come socialism we will have to give up our cup of tea since i do not envisage many tea plantation workers remaining as pickers. But those who love their brew, will now know that a Scottish grown tea has just won a prize.
The story is on the Daily Mail but i'm not permitted access to the Daily Mail web-pages. But i did google and yes, tea is grown in Scotland.

Sadly, not the same can be said for coffee…the conditions simply don't allow the coffee bean to be grown on the slopes of the glens or elsewhere in the UK
But you can have your own home-grown baccy…a smoke and a cuppa….what more can a person ask for in socialism
