Trump legally has seized the cargo of four tankers transporting Iranian fuel to Venezuela, US officials said on Thursday, as it steps up its campaign of maximum pressure against the two heavily sanctioned allies.
No military force was used as the ships were not physically confiscated. Rather, US officials threatened ship owners, insurers and captains with sanction to force them to hand over their cargo, which now becomes US property, the official said.
It is not clear where the vessels – the Bella, Bering, Pandi and Luna – or their cargoes currently are, but the ship captains weeks ago turned off their tracking devices to hide their locations.
I think that is fake news, Iran has said that none of their tankers has been taken by the USA and that those tankers are not Iranians

The Iranian ambassador in Caracas has said that those tankers have no relationship with Iran. The ships were detained in international water which means that the USA does not respect any agreement or international laws and accord unless it is just another tv show performed by the Conman. It is the law of the pirates which is prevailing, therefore, any other country can do the same things with the ships of the USA or Europe like they were doing in Somalia. This world is getting ridiculous and a bunch of zombies are supporting these outlaws
