In the past the Knights of Templar were wearing the mask of social justice, and during the visit of the Pope they made a national campaign in order to stop violence. This is like the war on drugs, which is the war to promote the proliferation of drugs, and to eliminate competitors, or like the US government trying to stop the planting of marihuana in Latin America, when inside the US there are huge plantations of cannabis, and several states have approved the legal use of itSome farm workers are collaborating with them with the firm idea that they are going to eliminate violence, but they are going to be disappointed when the same leaders of those groups start to attack and repress them

The biggest drug traffic is taking place in front of the nose of the US troops in Haiti

I have seen several left wingers groups already supporting and glorifying the Self defenses groups without knowing who is really behind them, just because some farm and agricultures workers are involved in the movement it does not mean that it is a workers movement

http://truth-out.org/news/item/21431-michoacan-and-the-economics-of-crimeAnother good article on the vigilante movement of Mexico. To put it in perspective the world's mafias and various crime cartels generate the equivalent of about $800 billion, an amount higher than the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Spain and equivalent to the GDP of Canada, i.e., 15 percent of world trade. According to the report, nearly $400 billion are earmarked for security services, ranging from buying politicians and officials, guards and private armies, which allow for the free movement of illicit capital, to its end point, which is the reintroduction into the legal economy.
