While I'm in the praising mood, this is a strong article also, and I like the detailed analysis of the tensions within Irish politics (notably, the old Officials as a wing of the Labour party have born the brunt of austerity and imposing on the Irish working class).

You sound enthusiastic enough about this month's issue that you might even be persuading North London branch to sell it in pubs on the Holloway Road The habituals there might find it a welcome change from An Phoblacht.

I've been trolling them in the Islington Tribune:http://www.islingtontribune.com/1916heroesA reply: http://www.islingtontribune.com/cashfreeutopiaMy reply: http://www.islingtontribune.com/irishindependenceI have no plans to try and sell this issue in The Boston Arms.  Might go in and leave it, maybe, but I'd have to run…

This is a good article on one of the most important occurrences in socialism and republicanism in Ireland. I completely agree that the book "The Lost Revolution: The Story of the Official IRA and the Workers’ Party" is an extraordinarily useful account of the Official Republican movement. There are one or two minor inaccuracies but the only one worth correcting is the statement that Seamus Lynch, from North Belfast, joined Thomás McGiolla and Sean Garland in the 'rump' of The Workers Party' (5th para from the end). To the contrary, Seamus Lynch became the leader of Democratic Left in Northern Ireland and remains active in cross community politics to this day.

Thanks. The editorial committee knows. One of the authors pointed out to us at the time the error about Seamus Lynch.
