Oh dear, things have only got worse for him as he has had to take the tough decision to refuse more freebies.

Now he can say that we all in it together: You can’t heat your flat, and I have to pay for my Armani suits.

She’s said it again. Here’s what Reeves writes in today’s Times:

“We ran as a pro-business party and we are governing as a pro-business party.”

    Yes indeed.

In case you are wondering what the jam we are promised tomorrow if we tighten our belts today, it’s:

“a Britain where families have more money in their pockets, so they don’t have to worry about the weekly shop”

“an NHS that is once again there for you when you need it.”

    Oh yeah.

Rachel Reeves has repeatedly said she didn’t want to cut the universal winter fuel allowance for pensioners but it was a tough decision forced on her because of the financial black hole left by the last govt

    Here’s Reeves 10 years ago:

The more like this that comes out about the current leaders of the Labour Party the more it becomes clear that in opposition they were just exploiting people’s problems to further their own lust for power and pelf (I think that’s the right word).

At least one Labour MP has now come to see this:

Of course even if they were saints it wouldn’t make any difference; they would still have to apply the economic laws of capitalism and put profit-making first, though so early and so eagerly as the current crop of Labour bleeders.

The trouble is that, historically, when people realise that they have been hoodwinked by Labour they have tended to turn to the right not the left. So the main beneficiary is likely to be Farage — though, hopefully, some will turn to socialism.

I saw that ALB. I actually scammed through it. Good point.

Owen Jones on X, highlighting Starmers hypocrisy over intuition fees. Starmer was critical of the tory government over the spiralling cost of intuition fees.

It’s today reported that Labour will now hike tuition fees by 13.5% to £10,500.

Ms Duffield accuses the government of pursuing “cruel and unnecessary” policies and attacks the prime minister for “hypocrisy” for accepting gifts.

In her letter she accused the prime minister and his top team of “sleaze, nepotism and apparent avarice” which are “off the scale”.

‘Intuition fee’. Isn’t that what you pay to a clairvoyant?

What a surprise. Not. Another entry in the Black Book of the record of the Starmer Labour government:

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2krlgekpxo.amp

UK military support for the Nutty Yahoo regime as part of course to maintain Western capitalist control of the Middle East oil resources and trade routes.

They’ve only been in for less than 100 days and are beginning to lose votes already.

Maybe because their famous “missions” were perceived as being (1) get into office (2) get more freebies (3) cut pensions.

    Serve the “Labour fakers” right.

This morning in my town centre, in addition to a protest against cold homes outside the Labour Party office, in the usual spot occupied by SPEW the Labour Party were protesting against the government!

I was approached with the question along the lines of “What do you think about what Keir Starmer is doing to this country?”

It was the local Labour Party wanting to hold Free Gear Kier to his election promises – collecting feedback by asking people to put a mark against a list of reforms as our top priority. None of which were abolishing capitalism.

The lady I spoke to said “perhaps abolishing capitalism is a long term goal” – “Is it?” I asked, “no”, she admitted.

Since we are keeping a record of the Starmer government, this incident which led to the government kow-towing to a “rogue employer” just to get them to invest in Britain ought to be recorded.

The Sultan from Dubai may have turned a corner but the P & O workers never got their jobs back and you wouldn’t want to be a worker under that dynastic regime.

Another good find. And it was brought out before Starmer became Prime Minister and so before he was exposed as a greedy and corruptible self-serving hypocrite.

The clothes supplied by Lord Walli was just greed but the tickets to the races was bribery. The betting “industry” was banking on him being so keen a race-goer that he wouldn’t support legislation to curb their activities.

Work and Pensions Secretary Liz Kendall plans to shrink Britain’s benefits bill by having employment advisors giving CV and interview advice in hospitals to people with mental health issues.
