Whilst searching for information re a Turkish commentator on the 'Gezi Park' protests I came upon this site:

    http://www.unionbook.org

It's a site for social networking for trades unionists and covers all manner of topics from around the world. I wondered if anyone here has knowledge of it?

Topical to the current action in Turkey are some photos from different towns around Turkey (most not being covered by the media but known to be in at least 64 of Turkey's 81 provinces) and a short supporting statement by a 'Marxist sociologist' John Holloway

Chapuling in the Streets: John Holloway greets #OccupyGezi resistance with solidarity!

    Quote:

Marxist sociologist John Holloway argues that a world after capitalism is already being imagined in struggles around the world. In the first of a six-part series, which will see an author’s words accompanied by animation by students at Central Saint Martins college, Carolina Aguirre, Lucas Gloppe and Magnus Lenneskog interpret Holloway’s words.
