It's an automated response from the workplace of one of the comrades. OK, the return date to the office is not pertinent but you should nevertheless get a reply – if you don't then take it up with the EC.
December 17, 2015 at 8:38 am #114745ALBKeymasterIsn't this more the responsibility of the Audio Visual Committee. Address here: spgb.av at worldsocialism, etc

Address here: spgb.av at worldsocialism, etcIt is but as that committee has not been 'firing on all cylinders' for a considerable period I avoided pointing Vin in that direction. Most of the functions that should be the responsibility of the A/V Committee have been undertaken by other comrades in recent years. It's another issue that the new Executive Committee will need to address…
December 17, 2015 at 10:11 am #114747DJPParticipantThis is for the AV committee not campaigns. The TORs and committee email addresses can be found in the files section of spintcom should anyone need them.FWIW members of the AV committee where involved in the production and facilitation of the Euro election video and are still involved in the audio section of the website.
December 17, 2015 at 10:44 am #114748AnonymousInactiveI just have the idea of something along the lines of using our TV appearences during elections and other party stuff with adverts for the Socialist Standard a little bit history and links to websites. Obviously this will need some sort of membership approval, tho' there is nothing controversial. I have Cde CS permisson to tidy up his appearance on 'Comment' in 80s https://www.dropbox.com/s/kl8zflkw1ebulde/CliffordComment2.mp4?dl=0There is a lot of party material that could be organised into a general introduction to the party. Nothing too technical and deep.

And three debates (two with the Zeitgeist Movement and the one with Peter Tatchell) were filmed, edited and uploaded by a non-member.

In the end I think the video was a good example of how members as committees can work together to get something done.

December 20, 2015 at 12:07 pm #114751AnonymousInactiveI suggest the Party hires Spencer Cathcart to produce an official party video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipe6CMvW0Dg
January 2, 2017 at 1:11 am #114752AnonymousInactiveWould it not be possible to replace this video with something more appealing to the working class and the problems we are facing?
January 15, 2017 at 4:53 pm #114753Major McPharterParticipantThe best pamphlet i ever read was WORLD OF FREE ACCESS by ex member paul breeze who sadly passed away a few years ago. A video version of this i think would be fantastic as an introduction to what we stand for. straight forward easy to understand without long winded unused words question and answer format. its Simples as the meerkats say.
January 19, 2017 at 8:17 am #114754ALBKeymasterHere's a flavour of that old pamphlet of Paul Breeze's (later an Independent councillor in Stoke):https://socialismoryourmoneyback.blogspot.co.uk/2017/01/these-are-undeniable-facts.html
January 19, 2017 at 1:23 pm #114755jondwhiteParticipantOne of the pamphlets titled 'World of Free Access' dated 1982 has been scanned in full and made available online herehttps://www.scribd.com/doc/112030675/World-of-Free-Access-1982
