I know this is the Daily Mail and that you can expect to come across the kind of sentiments expressed in this article for that reason. Still, it makes interesting reading. I was speaking to a bloke yesterday who once lived in London and he told me something similar happened in London. Things got so bad that they found it difficult even to find cleaning staff to clean the offices in central London at one point. London however has not fared as badly as San Francisco which this article describes in almost apocalyptic terms
