Another article about Syria from my favourite ME war correspondent Robert Fiskhttp://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/syrian-civil-war-five-years-on-2011-bashar-al-assad-isis-iran-conflict-a6929186.html

I agree that Fisk's stuff is now good, better than it used to be in fact. I detect in this article a bit of a mea culpa for his own previous position.

It looks like the drums of war are beating again, with claims about Assad having used chemical weapons – with the investigation of a Pulitzer prize-winning journalist apparently being ignored:"Seymour Hersh is the Pulitzer prize-winning journalist who exposed the My Lai Massacre during the Vietnam War, the Abu Ghraib prison scandal in Iraq, and shocking evidence about Osama Bin Laden’s death in 2011. Hersh has amassed a wealth of security contacts during his more than 40 years of reporting."https://www.thecanary.co/2017/06/30/people-tearing-bbc-alarming-decision-just-made-video/

What's happening in Syria shows just what a scrap of paper the UN charter is. It outlaws war … except under certain circumstances such as "self-defence", so all the countries currently attacking Syria (USA, Turkey, Israel) use this let-out clause to continue their bombing, even though some of their arguments are manifest lies.

The United Nation is a real shit hole. The US ambassador gave a speech at the UN looking for WMD in Iran like it was done by Colin Powell to justify the war against  Iraq

It is very strange how Israeli jet crashes according to the media but every other country's plane that is hit by AA fire are shot down.

I think Turkey might qualify this month rather than the "Zionist entity". They have invaded Syria to ethnically cleanse a border area of Kurds or at least submit them to the rule of the savage jihadi militias who are their proxies.

The expression applies to them, or to Syria,  it does not apply to the US or Israel. Gore Vidal indicated that the US always has an enemy, and immediately the US workers believe it. Israel will never be the enemy of the month club because they are backers of the US

This conflict in Siria can escalate into a larger confrontation between the USA and Russia due to the fact that during the last bombardment about 200 Russian millitary contractors were killed

Turkey's invasion of Syria has the full support of the religious establishment there:http://www.kurdistan24.net/en/news/01274f26-9a5a-4479-8989-0967194d82adMeanwhile the Grand Mufty of Damascus supports the Syrian government:http://www.irna.ir/en/News/82802289So, it looks as if allah is facing the same dilemma as the christians’ god in the the First World War. He won’t know which way to turn. Of course, if he really was “All Mighty” or “the Greatest” then he could intervene to stop the slaughter and destruction. So either he's a bastard or doesn't exist (or is useless).

And the Christians god supported an atheist known as Joseph Stalin during WW2, the Russian Orthodox Church asked the Vatican to support him, but they were already supporting Adolf Hitler, the Nazis and playing games with the others powers. The Christian god has had many prophets over the earth and many of them have been brutal dictators, and they become better prophet when they have signed 'Concordatos" ( Concordat ) The Russian Orthodox church called Stalin the apostle of God which was going to defeat the Nazis devil. The US Christians are supporting their new hope and blessing him to destroy the devil of others countries. Satan is a boy scout, or altar boy t compared to the god of the Christians. We must remember that Stalin was a Seminarist before joining the Bolshevik Party. Father Camilo Torres  was not so lucky with the church they asked the military to kill himIn Gaza Allah and Jehovah are supporting both sides and both are claiming the same piece of land. In reality, the so-called God is only a bastard of the human imagination, and it has no use for  our daily affair, a roll of toilet paper has more use
