Actually the US ruling class knew very well that what existed in the old USSR wasn’t socialist.
In 1959 one of the members of the Russian ruling elite, Mikoyan, visited the USA. On his departure he gave a farewell message in which he described Russia as socialist. The US Secretary of State, the notorious John Foster Dulles, replied on behalf of President Eisenhower:
“The President is aware that you operate under a system of State capitalism . . .”

Both knew that including Lenin. The Soviets leaders never said that they were living under a communist society. The ones who were repeating the same nonsenses were the left wing political parties and some low level government officials, but many of high level officials knew that the Soviet Union and china were capitalist countries

Socialism is not based on the concept of race, identity politics and sexism, and we have articles that reject that concept, and we do know that race is a social construct and that races do not exist, in reality the black and brown color of the skin is produced by the secretion of a gland.( An Albino has not produced enough melanin ) A man that went to Harvard and study Jurisprudence and pre-law ( cellular biology is part of the curriculum ) and he does not know about that
