The party's Adwords campaign promoting the video on YouTube is now up and running. Hasn't exactly 'gone viral' yet but it's received around 150 additional views in the past 24 hours.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZonz0YE50A
November 27, 2017 at 1:25 pm #129057AnonymousInactiveJust as an update, there have been about 45,000 impressions (number of times the ad has been displayed), 420 views (watching 30 secs is counted as a view), and 41 earned views (another video on our Youtube Channel being watched by someone who has viewed the ad).The average cost-per-view is at £0.05, with about £20 spent so far. There is a small increase in traffic to the site, as per Analytics, but nothing to confirm that it's a direct result of the spend.

Yes, the publicity is targeted at the working class. There have now been well in excess of 75,000 impressions resulting in 1,318 views of the video on YouTube in just over a week. However, the EC today agreed to limit the current spend to £250 but that further expenditure be sanctioned once the revamping of the website is completed in February 2018.

You obviously did not understand my question, perhaps you could be so kind as to pass the enquiry on to someone technically competent in the use of "adwords" and Youtube.

December 4, 2017 at 1:50 pm #129063AnonymousInactiveTotal views of the video on YouTube now stand at 4,232, an increase of over 1600 since the advertising campaign commenced 9 days ago. There have also been over 50 'earned views', which are views of other videos on our YouTube channel following a view of the whiteboard video. The current ad will terminate when £250 has been spent or by the end of December, whichever is the sooner. There has been a rise in traffic to the website, but it's unclear whether this is a direct result of the ad campaign – more data is required. However, an analysis of the figures for the past three months shows that peaks and troughs in traffic are commonplace, although the current peak is substantially higher than previous ones.
December 4, 2017 at 4:45 pm #129064AnonymousInactiveThe audience can be targeted by interests and location if required – for example ‘news and politics’, UK, Africa. We could for example target workers who search for, or are viewing, 'socialist' videos as opposed to workers searching for something unrelated. Just as we prefer to place inserts in Private Eye rather than Auto Trader. Of course with enough money the party could do both.Yes we want all workers to see the video but a targeted campaing will reach more people 'looking' for solutions and the socialist perspective as opposed to those looking for Peppa Pig videos. Just a thought and I am only trying to help.
December 11, 2017 at 9:50 pm #129065AnonymousInactiveViews of the video on YouTube continue to increase at over 150 a day and now stand at 5,350.
December 12, 2017 at 1:08 pm #129066AnonymousInactiveThe 'likes' are also going up. 10 more since the start of the campaign
December 18, 2017 at 8:15 am #129068AnonymousInactiveAnother 6 'likes' since last week. A 'like' indicates that someone has watched the video. Thats six more workers with knowledge of the SPGBs case and existence. The campaign should be stepped up without any more delay.edit. Are the members who have not 'liked' the video 'inactive' members A bit of pruning perhaps
