“Any newcomer that joins this forum will leave immediately. ”
Good.

What, like the depleted uranium shells your country is sending to the front? No, wait! Bojo’s half brain, our resident chemistry major, has shared with us it’s totally safe. Heck, he sprinkles it on his marmite toast every morning and is the picture of health!

14. Rule enforcement is the responsibility of the moderators, not of the contributors. If you believe a post or private message violates a rule, report it to the moderators. Do not take it upon yourself to chastise others for perceived violations of the rules.

No, my purpose is to point out your ignorance and hypocrisy and to warn newcomers you are pseudo-sicialists who should be avoided at all costs.

I am not taking it upon myself to chastise others on this forum. I am merely pointing out that the time has perhaps arrived for the moderator himself now to do some chastising in the case of this particular individual whose behaviour is completely unacceptable

I realise you consider yourself to be ‘the cat’s whiskers’ – (isn’t that the idiomatic English expression to describe someone ‘full of their own self-importance’?) – but I’m quite sure the moderator doesn’t require your ‘advice’.

Parent in trouble for daughter drawing an anti-war picture.
March 29, 2023 at 3:59 pm #242003Young Master SmeetModeratorWagner Calling victory in Bakhmut?
“And we are persistently moving along this pathway. The battle for Bakhmut has practically destroyed the Ukrainian army today,” the Wagner press office quoted Prigozhin as saying on its Telegram channel.
Foreign units are also incorporated into the Ukrainian army, Prigozhin added.
All the Russian units positioned in the flanks, the south and the north must “move forward,” the Wagner founder said.
Reports seem to be flitting about that the fighting has reached the centre of Bakhmut. RT has been reporting Zelensky as giving his reasons for holding the city He claimed that if Russia were to capture Artyomovsk, his government would come under international and domestic pressure to seek peace with Moscow.
“Our society will feel tired,” he told the news agency of this scenario. “Our society will push me to have compromise with them.” We’ll have to see: lots of chatter about the big AFU push coming soon.

This story smells like 2 week old prawn heads. We’re not getting the full picture here. My bet, dad belongs to an NED funded regime change “NGO”. The fact this “report” appears in the BBC is enough to discredit it.
March 30, 2023 at 3:21 pm #242024Young Master SmeetModeratorHe was initially fined for criticism of the Russia military operation in Ukraine on social media in April last year. He was investigated shortly after his daughter’s school alerted the police about her drawing in a fine arts class, which reportedly featured Russian and Ukrainian flags, along with an image of a woman and a child, and flying missiles.
Moskalev has written several more posts criticizing the Russian military operation since then, which led to a criminal case being launched against him before the New Year. In early March, he was placed under house arrest. His daughter is currently staying at a social rehabilitation center in Yefremov. It’s yet to be decided whether she will move to stay with relatives or will be sent to an orphanage, the lawyers said. The court hearing is scheduled to take place in early April.
What can I say?

So, sounds like he’s been sending false information. He was warned not to spread lies during a time of war but continued to do so. He was given a chance to stop being a useful idiot for foreign interests but doubled down on stupid. If NATOstan hadn’t engineered this conflict the dupe would be living life freely with his daughter. Yet one more victim of NATOstani aggression. Sad.
March 31, 2023 at 4:03 pm #242051robbo203ParticipantInteresting commentary from an interview with an underground journal in Kharkov in Ukraine. Apart from socialists and a few others, there are not many who oppose this sordid capitalist war and its capitalist protagonists on both sides – imperialist Russia and its backers on the one hand and Ukraine and its own imperialist backers in the West. It’s encouraging to see that at least some people are questioning this state of affairs and hopefully also the BS ideology of putrid nationalism…
_________________________________-“Since the summer of last year, spontaneous anarchism has noticeably increased among the masses – many already believe that the choice between two right-wing Latin American dictatorships is not a choice. This has significantly increased the popularity of our website – news about military and police brutality is now easily gaining thousands and thousands of views.
…
What do you think about the Zelensky government?
We live in a military dictatorial regime, similar to Russia in the 2000s, but rapidly approaching the current one, therefore, in such conditions, the only real ways of social resistance remain mutual information and evasion or boycott (this is not only about mobilization, but also, for example, about companies that do not pay wages using the wartime conditions. The conscripts are now more and more behaving like street guerrillas: they saw a military patrol with subpoenas – they crossed to the other side of the road, lay down behind the curb, crawled under parked cars and left by the yards. It is sad that the whole city, where now there is about a million people, is afraid of several hundred camouflaged “postmen”, but until the Russian army turns its bayonets against own power, radical social struggle in Ukraine is practically suicidal. And everyone understands this.”
