TN – “Workers absolutely do have a vested interest in a Russian victory. It will very likely lead to a collapse of NATO and the eventual creation of a multipolar world free of Washington’s hegemony.”
As I have asked you to explain how would a multipolar world be an advantage to workers as opposed to a unipolar world? I have pointed out to you that for the majority of capitalisms existance the world has been multipolar.
All you have come up with is an uncovincing diatribe from a quasi Trotskyist professor from a third rate US university who thinks that Minneapolis was controlled by Trotskyists.
December 7, 2022 at 8:44 am #237451robbo203ParticipantCame across the article “Is Russia fascist?” The writer seems to think Russia is a case of “late-stage fascism”. I think he is wrong for the same reason that people like our resident bore, TS, is wrong in calling Ukraine a “Nazi regime”. Both Ukraine and Russia are repressive right-wing capitalist oligarchies and only a gullible idiot could buy such claims that Russia’s imperialistic invasion of Ukraine was driven by the desire to denazify the latter. On the contrary, it was driven by the same old capitalist motives that drive every capitalist conflict – to protect and expand its sphere of influence even to the point of acquiring new territories at the expense of some other capitalist state

International Communist Tendency
“While Russia seeks conquest as a means to jump-start its struggling economy and to roll back the loss of its strategic depth, the members of NATO want to drag out the war in Ukraine as long as possible to damage Russian industry and its military- not peace, but victory.”
“…the Norwegian state declared the oil rig workers’ strike illegal in the name of preventing disruption of the national economy steeped in imperialist competition with Russia. At the warfront itself, the Ukrainian state has moved to outlaw any semblance of the working class fighting for its own interests, by allowing company management to arbitrarily and unilaterally tear up existing contracts and by mobilizing all available resources for the war….”
December 7, 2022 at 12:38 pm #237456TrueScotsmanBlocked“”To duplicate the personal fiefdom of Ramzan Kadyrov. What an aspiration.”
Lol. You think that’ll threaten the authority of the Kremlin? What you smoking?
“So bad are conditions that the exiles in the Chechen diaspora refuse to return and outnumber the population of Chechenya”
BS.
“However, you may also have overlooked the existence of the Dzhokhar Dudayev Battalion, Sheikh Mansur Battalion, and the Separate Special Purpose Battalion in the Ukrainian army.”
Oohh, scary! Not. What rubbish. Let’s be generous and say that’s another 10,000. So all up 25,000 out of 500,000. You’re an idiot.
“If you deign not to read the article, then you will never know the answer.”
Fine with me.
December 7, 2022 at 2:58 pm #237458robbo203Participant“At the same time, the Kremlin’s growing cooperation with the far-right parties across Europe contradicts its vocal antifascist stance, as well as its public disregard for right-wing political forces in the Ukrainian state apparatus. According to the Political Capital Institute, 15 European far-right parties have openly expressed their sympathy towards Russians”
Not surprised. There is little to choose between Russia and Ukraine politically speaking. Both are repressive right-wing regimes. If the one is “fascist” so must the other be….depending on how you define “fascism”, of course
December 7, 2022 at 3:07 pm #237459ALBKeymaster”the Dzhokhar Dudayev Battalion, Sheikh Mansur Battalion, and the Separate Special Purpose Battalion in the Ukrainian army.”
Gangs of cut-throats (literally), fighting for Democracy, the Rule of Law, Good against Evil, etc, etc. But at least they are “our” cut-throats.
Incidentally, didn’t their sort as like the Ukrainian nationalists also fight for Hitlerite Germany in the Second World Slaughter?
December 7, 2022 at 3:29 pm #237460robbo203ParticipantTS – “Workers absolutely do have a vested interest in a Russian victory. It will very likely lead to a collapse of NATO and the eventual creation of a multipolar world free of Washington’s hegemony.”
What utter BS. It will simply mean exchanging one bunch of capitalist exploiters-cum-warlords for another if that. The emancipation of workers does NOT consist in being able to choose which master should rule over them. Implying that it does, means urging workers to accept their status as wage slaves and to live with it. In other words to embrace capitalism. This is precisely what TS does with his obnoxious jingoistic support of Russian capitalism and its far-right regime

Fake news debunked years ago. You must do better with your NATOstani propaganda Lobotomy.

December 8, 2022 at 12:41 am #237487alanjjohnstoneKeymasterPutin admitted the war could be a “lengthy process”.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-63893316
He said the annexations had made the Sea of Azov – which is bordered by south-east Ukraine and south-west Russia – an “internal sea” of Russia, adding that this was an aspiration of Russian Tsar Peter the Great.
“As for the slow process of the special military operation, then, of course, it can be a long-term process,” Putin said. “But then you mentioned that new territories had appeared. This is such a significant result for Russia … The Azov Sea has become an internal Russian sea. Even Peter I had fought for access to the Azov Sea.”
“Are there guys who deserted their combat posts? Yes, it happened … less and less now,” he said. “I repeat once again that no cases of such nature [desertions] have a mass character.”
Good news is he confirms there will never be a first use of nukes by Russia

You are right, ALB. Even Zelensky had to distance Ukraine from the Al Qaida-esqe Sheikh Mansur Battalion but still uses it.
December 8, 2022 at 1:20 am #237492AnonymousInactiveIt was the same conception of Germany and the members of the axis, to become a new multipolar power to dominate the whole world, or to replace one groups of capitalists for another groups of capitalists, which is only an exchange of slaves drivers, and at the end of WW2 two groups of capitalist bandits divided the world among themselves. Our resident socialist approves that exchange of masters
It is also the aim of the Chinese imperialist to take control hegemonic of the whole world, and it will not produce any benefits to the world working class either, fight and dispute among the capitalists have also existed since the emerge of capitalism, it is nothing new, only economical ignorants do not know that, during the time of Marx and Engels a multipolar world already existed, nothing new, eliminating the yankee it is the same proclamation of the Castroists/Guevarists while they were making alliance with the soviet imperialists which is not anti capitalism, and they became the lapdog of the soviet capitalists
Socialists do not take sides with any capitalist bloc, only reactionaries, wackos, and left-wingers take side with them.
There is not such thing as ilegal or legal wars, there are all criminals, all constitutions studied by lawyer under the name of constitutional law, they only educate the students and future lawyers to become defenders of the interests of the capitalist class, the left-wingers and right wingers are the only one who have created the ideas of good and bad wars,( most of them do not know anything about constitutional law ) and the concept of national self defense is another bourgeois conception.
The USA constitution says that it can only start a war if they are attacked and the congress has approved more than 11 wars without being attacked, and they have had more than 132 intervention in Latin America without being attacked,( without the approval of the congress ) therefore, the legal system is based on legal and ilegal crime.
Ilegal crime is only applicable to the working class, and most crimes are based on the violation of the private property, and the only ones who have a guilty mind ( mens rea ) is the working class, Donald Trump has violated all the federal criminal laws and he is still living like a king
Any so called socialist who advocate the conception of self defense does not qualify to be called socialist. The league of nation was dismantled in order to give way to World War Two, and then they created the UN and they have also approved wars and invasion, in Haiti the blue hats were acting like any other imperialist force and some of those so called socialist countries like Bolivia were part of that invasion, the so called International Court is another toy of the capitalists and the imperialists, and many so called Internationalist lawyers have also approved several wars, disobeying agreements and accords, Barrack Obama was a teacher of constitutional law and he is a warmonger.
PS The website SOYMB has three articles describing the Good US wars and legal wars

Allegations of the summary executions of civilians by Russian troops.
United Nations, Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights – pfawwww…what do they know being the puppets of the West and anti-Russian. Fake news. Ukrainian propaganda. All hearsay…we have video evidence of Ukraine shooting POWs and so that cancels out any war crimes by Russia. Russian soldiers are saints. Ukrainian soldiers are servants of satan.
I can hear TS reply now.

Wow, for once All-in with the CIA is actually saying something sensible.
The very first Russian “war crime” mentioned in the article is Bucha which was a Ukrainian massacre of “collaborators”. The UN “investigation” is a joke.

December 8, 2022 at 6:19 am #237499alanjjohnstoneKeymasterYes, of course, Bucha was a staged false flag op
And we all know that Wikipedia is a CIA outlet so we won’t believe any claims that are contrary to what Russia says. The Kremlin never lies.
