“Movimiento, those the Maoists called “landlords” in the 1940s and 50s were mostly poor farmers.
Infants were not exempt. Toddlers were tortured and killed as well as adults. Mao’s maxim was “I don’t care who I harm, but no one will be allowed to harm me.””
The evil commies ate the babies too and, when full to the gills with baby, used the pudgy little tortured to death baby bodies to make soap so they could wash all the baby blood from their baby killing hands. With the baby bones they made baby tooth picks to clean the baby out from between their baby eating teeth! And that’s why there are no people left in China, the commies ate all the babies.
Are there any anti-communist lies you aren’t too dim to swallow? Lol

November 16, 2022 at 12:18 am #236261alanjjohnstoneKeymasterAccidents happen in war.
Long ago I remember the media made much of a missile attack against an Israel town until Israel explained that it was their own missile, part of Iron Dome…what goes up must come down somewhere.
Despite describing everything as precision just because of GPS guidance, rockets and shelling often go awry.
Logic leads me to think that Russia would do everything it can not to involve the risk of NATO involvement. Nor does NATO require a message from Russia that there exists a possibility of the war expanding beyond Ukraine’s borders.
War hawks may delight in such incidents but we should exercise reason and dampen down war fever.

———————————————————-n——————————————–It looks that you have not read the works of Enver Hoxha, or anything written by the Albanian tendency, that historical passage was mentioned by Enver Hoxha ( who was a Stalinist ) when he made an analysis about Mao Tse Tung thought and the so called cultural revolution which he described it as a fanatic movement promoved by Mao, and he said that the so called Chinese revolution should have been called a political revolution instead of a cultural revolution.
During the so called cultural revolution many bizarre actions were committed against the peasants who only wanted a land reform. There are not any anticommunist lies, but communism has never existed in Russia, or China, they must be called anti state capitalist propaganda like the book named the Black book of communism, even more, many capitalists do not know what socialism really is and most of the leftist and Leninists do not know it either
November 16, 2022 at 2:24 am #236268AnonymousInactiveJust read the commentary about this strike and you will see certain similarities of what has been said here. We can see that there is not difference between fascists and anti fascists, both sides support the death of members of the working class, and poor peoples
November 16, 2022 at 2:55 am #236269alanjjohnstoneKeymasterNo idea what the band’s attitude is to the war but its sentiment is one we should all share
November 16, 2022 at 6:47 am #236273robbo203ParticipantFar from Russia “decisively winning the war”, it seems to be sustaining loss after loss and now, if these reports are correct, it is losing the support of China too. It is increasingly clear the authoritarian capitalist regime of Putin made a monumental blunder with its invasion of Ukraine
_______________________________________________________“We must firmly oppose politicisation, instrumentalisation and weaponisation of food and energy problems,” the Chinese president told the summit in Bali.
Mr Xi did not single out Russia and reiterated his opposition to Western sanctions policy, but the remarks will be seen as a signal of Beijing’s unease over the war and of Moscow’s growing isolation on the world stage.
According to Emmanuel Macron, Mr Xi also suggested Ukraine’s territorial integrity must be respected.
After meeting with his counterpart at the summit, the French president said: “Together with President Xi Jinping, we call for respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.”

November 16, 2022 at 6:57 am #236275robbo203Participant“Missile that hit Poland is unlikely to have been fired from Russia, Biden says”
For once Biden appears to be talking sense. Why would capitalist Russia want to widen the war against it? Same with the Nordstream pipeline incident. How would Russia have benefitted from it? We can’t believe the propaganda from western sources any more than we can believe the propaganda from Russian sources

Now he has claimed that a Russian missile killed two people in Poland:
It turns out that they were killed by a Ukrainian missile. A case of friendly fire then, if not a Ukrainian false flag operation. Or maybe it was Russia but NATO wants a pretext not to respond.
In any event, the lesson is: Don’t believe a word the man says or what Ukrainian propaganda machine churns out (any more than what the Russian propaganda machine does).

“Don’t believe a word Zelensky says ”
You might want to take your own advice ALB. There was no “Russian missile”.

True Scotsman, I deleted one of your messages replying to Bijou Drain for being unnecessarily insulting.
Posters should be aware of what is acceptable and permissible and understand that there limits to how far they can go.

November 16, 2022 at 10:41 am #236288Thomas_MoreParticipantThe incidents I have described about Maoism are not from western media, TS, but from CPC state archives, referenced in books.
Movimiento, these horrors also took place during the “Cultural Revolution”, but were not new. They began when Mao took power over the CPC and the arrival at Yenan in the mid-30s and throughout the 40s, and were applied to the nation as a whole from 1948.
Moderator, I know these are off thread, but I have needed to reply to points made here. to Movimiento, and TS does not visit the Chinese threads.

November 16, 2022 at 10:58 am #236292Thomas_MoreParticipantMovimiento, didn’t Castro revere Trotsky?
November 16, 2022 at 12:30 pm #236294TrueScotsmanBlockedAll-in I specifically asked you about that very thing a ways back and you cleared it. Why on earth is that needlessly offensive? It’s not offensive at all. Who’s gonna be offended by that? Lol
