“There were about 80,000 foreign students studying in Ukraine at the time of the invasion, many from Africa and Asia…Why did they not travel to Russia?”

So you expect that they should head toward battle lines to continue their studies? Lol.

At any rate, the students would have been treated much better if they had chosen to enter Russia. Nazis aren’t very kind to those with considerable melanin.
    —————————————————————–
The main distinction of Nazism is not racism, that is BS, Racism has a class origin and it can exist in Africa, there were African nazis battalions during World War Two and they supported the Nazis in Africa.

Russia is as racist as any other country, it was also said by the students from the Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow. There were many US Blacks soldiers who stayed in Germany after ww2, they said that they were treated better in Germany than the USA.

The students did not want to go to Russia to continue their education, because Russia was not going to accept their academic credentials and some Europeans nation did it, there were students on their sixth years of medicine and they did not want to repeat the classes again, and they were ready to do their internship when the war started.

They did not have any problem with the so called Nazis in Ukraine since Ukraine was receiving many students from Africa and India since the times of the Soviet Union, their problems started with the Russian invasion

Oh dear, All-in. You’re quoting from CIApedia again. Give it a rest.

“Perhaps this other website report quoting journalists who have worked with Lancaster can be considered corroborating evidence of his unreliability.”

Platforming smear pieces of independent journalists now are we All-in with the bourgeoisie? There are no depths All-in is not prepared to debase himself in order to carry the imperialists’ piss water. Next he’ll be throwing Julian Assange under the bus.

“David Ferris, a hack filmmaker and writer”

    There, fixed it for you.

“As for Mintpress News, itself scarcely a neutral objective news agency.”

Lol. Name a “neutral” journalist or news site. But at least it’s left-wing and independent.

People here remember the long career of Robert Fisk and lament his passing because he was a respected war correspondent who could be both critical of mainstream media and still remain objective in his reporting. He was a journalist by trade unlike those deserving to be called hacks.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Fisk

But of course that bio must be 100% false because it is from CIA Wiki.

Have you ever bothered to read how Wiki entries are discussed and agreed and edited?

Is there political bias? Yes. Is it only from the CIA?

“…DW’s fact-check team analyzed the German, Russian and Ukrainian entries. The German version called Crimea a “Ukrainian peninsula,” while the Russian did not mention its belonging to Ukraine, though it acknowledged a territorial dispute. The entries contained most of the same basic factual information about the region, but the entries differed on more recent events: The Ukrainian version has a section called “Annexation of Crimea,” but the Russian refers to the “Accession of Crimea to the Russian Federation.” Most Russian entries on the topic fail to mention that the March 2014 referendum that led to Crimea’s annexation was not considered legitimate by the government of Ukraine and many international institutions, which do not recognize the annexation either…”

You got any evidence for all your claims?

And how do we know of these edits? Oh, Wikipedia logs them individually for everyone to read and for others to undo

Now the question is, was the information provided about Lancaster and Mintpress from Wikipedia made-up lies when supported by other sources? Can you refute what is said with counter-evidence?

After all, you yourself said previously that the right-wing politics of some commentators you cite for back-up is irrelevant, it is what if they say is true that is important.

Is it a coincidence that all of the ‘independent’ journalists cited by TS agree with his perspective on the Ukrainian conflict? Can he name one independent journalist who does not share his ideological bias? Just utter nonsense as usual. Having reread some of our past articles concerning the fall of the Russian Empire they all seem to agree on its inevitability and that the world has moved on – except for a tiny minority within the left, like TS, who like to live in the past.

Emotionally I am still in the early sixties. No apologies for that.
Mention has been made of conservative (‘right-wing’) commentators. Reading an old Daily Telegraph (yes – the other day) I came upon this in Auberon Waugh’s Way of the World Column:

Our greatest test will come with the Russo-Ukrainian war, which I have been predicting ever since the break-up of the Soviet Union.

Dated 9 February 1994. Can anyone come up with an earlier prediction. If you can’t it doesn’t really matter.

    Wez,

The basic rule with regards to TS is that if the citation supports him it is authentic, unbiased and correct, if it does’nt support him it is biased, written by the CIA, inauthentic and right wing.

I think that says more about TS’s psyche than it does about politics:

I think he has at least 5 of the following characteristics:

Has a grandiose sense of self-importance

Is preoccupied with fantasies of success, power, brilliance, beauty, or perfect love.

Believes that they are “special” and can only be understood by or should only associate with other special people (or institutions).

    Requires excessive admiration.

Has a sense of entitlement, such as an unreasonable expectation of favoorable treatment or compliance with his or her expectations).

Is exploitative and takes advantage of others to achieve their own ends.

Lacks empathy and is unwilling to identify with the needs of others.

Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of them.

Shows arrogant, haughty behaviours and attitudes

Well, it is beginning to look like the authoritarian capitalist regime of Ukraine is gaining the upper hand over the authoritarian capitalist regime of Russia. So much for rash claims made here about victory being assured for the latter in this stupid pointless inter-capitalist conflict. How many working-class lives have been lost on both sides for no good reason whatsoever

“The Kremlin has ordered its forces to withdraw from the city of Kherson on the Black Sea coast in southern Ukraine.

The order comes eight months after the Russians captured Kherson and its 300,000 residents, six months after Ukrainian troops began bombarding the Kherson garrison’s supply line and two months after Ukrainian brigades launched a counteroffensive in the south aimed at liberating Kherson.

It’s a profound victory for Ukraine, and a major defeat for Russia. Arguably the biggest Russian defeat in a generation.

The Ukrainians already had the momentum in Russia’s nine-month-old wider war on Ukraine. Now it’s safe to say the Ukrainians actively are winning the war—and soon could advance on other Russian-occupied territories and cities. The destroyed historic port of Mariupol, for instance. Or even the strategic Crimean Peninsula.”

Pull Back Kherson save lives. This information comes from the Russian KGB

Like in the old days of the Cold War, each one presenting their own biased information instead of using Moscow Radio, now they are using RT, the same shit as the CIA or the Voice of the Americas. Both sides can fool the fools

Come to think of it, True Stalinist, that rather colourfully sums up your own position doesn’t it? But by all means carry on bootlicking your favourite capitalist, V Putin, if you so wish. Don’t let the egg on your face deter you
