Hotels to make a mint
Will be the same at the coronation
September 13, 2022 at 3:24 am #233116alanjjohnstoneKeymasterChris Hedges, as biting as usual.

“Monarchy obscures the crimes of empire and wraps them in nostalgia. It exalts white supremacy and racial hierarchy. It justifies class rule. It buttresses an economic and social system that callously discards and often consigns to death those considered the lesser breeds, most of whom are people of color.”
(only thing he ignores the African kings and queens with the recent coronation of the Zulu king, Misuzulu ka Zwelithini)
September 13, 2022 at 6:48 am #233128ALBKeymasterThe proposal to change the British (or any other, for that matter) capitalist state from a constitutional monarchy to a republic is a complete irrelevance. In fact it must be near the top of the list of irrelevant reforms. Unlike Scotland breaking away (with or without the same king) which it also irrelevant, it wouldn’t even temporarily disrupt people’s life. It wouldn’t make the slightest difference to that whatsoever.
If republicans want a radical, revolutionary change, they should go for socialism where, of course, there won’t be a monarch if that’s their main concern.

He was referring to Andrew’s connection with Epstein

…using an M-LAT or “mutual legal assistance treaty” request via the US state department. Berman says such requests had always worked both ways before.
“But that was not what happened with Prince Andrew,” he writes. “We got absolutely nowhere. Were they protecting him? I presume someone was.”
September 14, 2022 at 2:29 am #233178alanjjohnstoneKeymasterDozens of Clarence House staff have been given notice of their redundancy as the offices move to Buckingham Palace.
Up to 100 employees at the former official residence, including some who have worked there for decades, received notification that they could lose their jobs just as they were working round the clock to smooth his elevation to the throne.
Private secretaries, the finance office, the communications team and household staff are among those who received notice during the thanksgiving service for the Queen, at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh.
Staff had assumed they would be amalgamated into the King’s new household, claiming they were given no indication of what was coming until the letter from Sir Clive Alderton, the King’s top aide, arrived.
One source said: “Everybody is absolutely livid, including private secretaries and the senior team. All the staff have been working late every night since Thursday, to be met with this. People were visibly shaken by it.”

These businesses must now reapply for their warrants.

September 15, 2022 at 12:02 am #233229alanjjohnstoneKeymasterA banner in the Celtic end was unfurled that read “Fuck the Crown” while another one said “Sorry for your loss Michael Fagan”, a reference to the intruder who broke into the Queen’s Buckingham Palace bedroom in 1982.
The away fans also chanted “If you hate the Royal Family, clap your hands” during the game. There was no minute’s silence for the Queen

Imposed Insanity – Royalty, Propaganda And The Coming Catastrophe
“…And it is no accident that corporate editors and journalists are united now in expressing deep affection for the late Queen. When everyone clearly feels obliged to say the same thing, it means they are deferring to a key requirement of elite control. This latest blitz should be no surprise, because wherever there is royalty, there is militarism, organised religion, bipartisan political agreement, patriotism and, of course, concentrated wealth…”
