Alan, I know that it is not the strategy of Bernie Sanders, but he is not going to challenge the two-party system, even more, the Green Party in the past offered him the presidency and he did not accept it. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is already having contradictions with the leadership of his campaign

Not all bad news for the progressives in the Democratic Party

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/democratic-primaries-dan-lipinski-marie-newman-illinois-progressive-a9408611.html

“Marie Newman…supports progressive proposals such as Medicare for All and a $15-per-hour minimum wage…Newman’s victory echoes the rise of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez…”

If Biden, Bernie and Trump were here in England they wouldn’t be allowed out for 12 weeks. Mind you Bernie is taking a big risk as if he catches it, with his heart condition we may as well prepare his obituary. We probably should anyway. Already got an idea for the theme: the reformist who never got a chance to try to reform capitalism but if he had he would have failed anyway.

Continuing on this morbid  theme, I think there was a US president in the 19th century who caught pneumonia the day of his inauguration and died. Can’t remember his name and when.

William Henry Harrison, died 31 days after his inauguration in 1841.

They can nominate an Apache or a Comanche, or a personality from Disneyland,  and he/she will be forced to read the same instruction manual as the prior ones.

More than 54% of USA women voted for Donald Trump in 2016, and two weeks later after the presidential inauguration, they were protesting on the streets.

There was a Latin American president who said that the presidential chair is a pin chair, but it also  has a sticky glue

Tulsi Gabbard dropped out of the 2020 Democratic presidential race on Thursday and immediately threw her support behind Joe Biden.

“I know that he has a good heart”

What is it going to happen if the USA workers elect Joe Biden as president and he rejects any bill for Medicare for all?

Bernie Sanders did it again. Now, he is supporting Joe Biden as he did in 2016 supporting Hillary Clinton

    “Status Quo Joe”

We will see what moves are afoot to substitute another candidate now that they have gotten rid of the Bernie problem

Since Bernie Sanders gave up or was forced to give up, the Green Party is getting more new members which means that many followers of Bernie Sanders are going to vote for Green Party candidates, as they did in 2016 when many of them voted for Donald Trump, the DSA,  and stayed home without going to vote for any candidate. Probably, Trump is going to be the winner again. There is a large division among the DSA membership due to the fact that the political reality has shown to them that the Democratic Party can be pushed toward the left, its real pull is toward the ruling class

Sanders practically pleads for his supporters to vote for the lesser evil

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/apr/15/bernie-sanders-joe-biden-irresponsible-not-support

AOC already said she will vote for Biden no matter what…not even trying to extract any concessions from him.

If you are guarantee your support regardless, just how can you expect compromises if he becomes president when you no longer possess the leverage of the power to offer or with-hold your vote?

US politicians do not have any dignity and political seriousness. They are just a bunch crooks
