It appears that the election is more or less over regardless of any debates. The Trump supporters aren’t going to swing, Trumps no tax paid or any other revelation is fake news, and Biden’s voters are as equally unmovable.
Biden will win the popular vote just as did Clinton did, but in those crucial states that will determine the Electoral College outcome is all close enough to the margin of error.
Nor does it look like there will be an immediate result on the day…all those TV pundits will be blethering about everything but who will be the next president…it could be a day or few for that to be known – and both parties are readying their lawyers in anticipation.
I’m always astonished that America, that progressive nation of enterprise and ingenuity, can remain so stuck in the 18thC with its constitution. There is absolutely no movement to reform the electoral process to something akin to proportional representation by the many methods available.
Even the unrestricted write-in rules for voting is limited to 7 states then there are 9 who don’t permit it and then the rest have varying conditions – hoops to jump through – for write-ins.

Donald Trump said that he can shoot somebody on the streets and they will support him, and he will not lose any voters, and he is right on that

John McCain, will advise Democrat Joe Biden’s presidential transition team as it prepares for him to take office if he wins in November, the team announced Monday. McCain is the second Republican on the 16-member transition advisory board,

In reality, Trump is an example of the whole capitalist class who lives in the back of the working peoples. What are they complaining about? He has done what others capitalists have done using the same tax laws that he has used, and even more, he bribed several senators as other rich peoples have done to pass laws to favour them, even more, he provided funds to Hillary Clinton when she was running as a senator of New York. The 72 million returned to him is not a tax, that is a refund based on a tax law created for real estate investors and most of them have received the same refund probably in a higher amount, What about saying that Trump like any other capitalist has been following the laws of capitalism? The legal system was created by them in order to protect their own interests, and tax attorneys used the same law created by Congress, and the only ones who always get auditing are the workers, and congress itself has been reducing the funding the IRS and they are short of personnel. This is a society based on Legal and Ilegal crime, therefore Al Capone was following the same rules and practices of the rich peoples when he was accused of Tax evasion, the same thing was done by Richard Nixon, and he was never taken to jail but a poor worker will go to jail for tax evasion. He might lose some votes, but the majority of his supporters are going to vote him, and probably, he can be elected again, using the antidemocratic system known as the electoral college

October 5, 2020 at 5:03 pm #207788alanjjohnstoneKeymasterThe polls now appear to say that it will indeed be President Biden in 2020.
Sure the polls said Clinton was going to win but the pollsters understand where they went wrong and have corrected their forecasting techniques. They concentrate their polls on the important swing states for the electoral college.
There is no sympathy rebound for a Covid-stricken Trump
There is no hidden Trump support going unreported
It looks like it could be a substantial win for Biden and there will not be any grounds for any debate over the margin or fraud claims over the Biden victory.
The Lesser Evil will prevail.
Can it be reversed in the next televised debate? Very doubtful. Has he got a secret weapon? Very unlikely
And then we see is the expectations of the Justice Democrats and the Chomsky progressives will be in the streets to push Biden to the left and if Biden will bend to that pressure.
I have no doubt that we will be saying “told you so” and indulging in schadenfreude as the Biden White House passes legislation that reneges even on his watered down promises.

Adolf Hitler won the presidency of Germany by a majority of voters, therefore who is the real dictator? That is what the USA mythologists call American Democracy, and Malcolm X used to call it American hypocracy
Hugo Chavez won several times by more than 80% of the votes and they were saying that he was a dictator, comparatively Aristides was more popular than Donald Trump and he was overthrown by a USA/Vatican coup, but Rafael L Trujillo who was one of their puppets was called a democrat but he had one single political party, ( Jacobin vanguard party ) he was the only presidential candidate, the military and the police picked-up everybody voting cards and voted for them, and his brother was the vice president, he was the only one allowed to make the political campaign, and the opposition party was created by him, and he always defeated the opposition for 30 years, in the end, he was planning to look for the protection of the Soviet Union because the USA wants to overthrow him, and the CIA ordered his assassination
October 5, 2020 at 6:18 pm #207793AnonymousInactiveJoe Biden is more malleable toward the right than to left,( What is the left in the USA? ) he is Barrack Obama part two, and that is the reason why the black peoples are going to elect him instead of Bernie Sanders. Wall Street is already supporting him after they obtained the bag of gold from Donald Trump, he was not able to drain the swamp as he promised, on the contrary, he put more crocodiles in the swamp
October 6, 2020 at 8:04 am #207799alanjjohnstoneKeymasterRichard Wolff joins the long line of vote for Biden, the lesser evil.
“Wolff is clearly disappointed with Biden’s center-left positions. As such, does he feel that electing Biden defeating Trump will help America?
“I don’t think it makes a major difference in dealing with the underlying problems, but it does make a significant difference in dealing with a whole set of other less foundational or less fundamental or less deeply rooted problems,” Wolff told Salon. “And so it’s crystal clear for me that, just for me personally, choosing Mr. Biden over Mr. Trump is a no brainer. And so I have no problem with people who make that choice. I would maintain that what I hear and see from Mr. Biden falls way short of coping with the kinds of issues that I try to raise in that book and in the work that I do generally.” He added, “I regret that. I think it’s a mistake on his part even within the framework of his objectives.” ”
October 7, 2020 at 2:04 am #207827AnonymousInactive- In politic and baseball we can never predict any outcome. Now the polls show that joe Biden is going to have a landslide like Obama did he is going to win electoral college and the popular vote, peoples are massively voting for him probably in Florida he is going to be the winner. The new tactic of the democrats is to win the swings state I looks like they are going to have a full house and a full senate
October 7, 2020 at 7:07 pm #207881AnonymousInactiveAccording to new polls ( which are not always accurate ), Joe Biden is 17% points above Donald Trump, that will motivate Trump to be pumped with more anti-inflammatory medications ( corticosteroids ) to run his reelection campaign
October 7, 2020 at 7:11 pm #207883AnonymousInactiveRichard Wolff calls himself a Marxist but he is using the expression Center Left which is not even used by most of the leftist groups, they use right and left, and both are irrelevant too

October 8, 2020 at 6:06 pm #207982AnonymousInactiveAny personality from Disney world ( Pluto, Mickey Mouse, etc ) or comic books would make a better job than anyone of those assholes that peoples are going to elect. The real allied of the USA workers ( which is a multi-ethnic class ) are the workers from others countries, including Europe, Canada, Mexico, China, Russia, Iran, Iraq, the whole Latin America region, Asia, Africa and the middle east, and vice-versa, they have more common interests with the peoples from others countries than with their own governors, the ruling class, presidents and state ministers. It is ironic that a society with so many workers does not have a massive political party ( they can not even elect a social democrat ) of the working class, for 200 years representative of the ruling class have been taking terms to oppress and dominate the working class, and peoples have not taken consciousness of that historical process. These two idiots did not cover anything of importance including the two prior ones who had a rooster fight
