He Tells Her by Wendy Cope

    Moderation
I’m sorry, @Moo, but per rule 4: ” Do not use the forum to send any material that you know or should know would expose the SPGB to criminal or civil liability. This includes but is not limited to material which constitutes libel, harassment, or violation of copyright. You may, of course, quote portions of third-party publications for ‘fair dealing’ purposes such as criticism or review.”

Wendy Cope is alive, so her work is copyright, while the risk of an enforcement notice is low, it is serious and we need to be consistent on this.

I have taken the unusual step of linking to the version of the poem freely available on the Guardian website.

Fair enough. Another reason to get rid of capitalism: copyright laws!
