In 10 years time a new generation will be viewing the video and wondering…who the hell is that geezer…Andrew Neil will be as well known as Reginald Bosanquet is today. And i agree the text can consist not just questions but observations using statistics and quotes to prepare and introduce our members contributions.
We could do more planned and rehearsed questions and answers, If there are members able and willing at HO and the Audio Visual equipment is good enough.

January 22, 2016 at 2:10 pm #116347AnonymousInactiveThinking of trying to do a short intro to the video along the lines of 'the lie we live' with pictures, music and voice over. Anyone got a great talking voice? Intro to VideoThe economic system of capitalism has spread to every corner of the planet and is dominated by money, investment, interest, profit and marketsbut how does that affect us as individuals ?Well if you are a capitalist, then you are a free do almost anything you wantGo to bed and get up any time you choseTravel anywhere in the worldInvest in a call centre, a factory, a supermarket chain. Buy expensive houses, cars, clothes etc. There is very little you can’t do as a capitalist in a capitalist society? In almost every sense of the word you are free Of course, You know you are not a capitalist, you are reminded of that every morning when your alarm goes .You don’t have a choiceYou can’t just decide to stay in bed orGo where you want to goYou can’t invest in a call centre, factory or a supermarket chain. This is because you are a member of the working classWhether you are a doctor, manager brick layer, nurse, car salesman, brain surgeon or professorYou are a member of the working class because you have no choice but to sell your time and your abilities in order to live. You are not a free individual within world capitalism. But where does all this wealth and all this freedom for the capitalist come from? The airplanes, trains, flash cars, big expensive homes, clothes and foodCertainly not from the capitalist.Everything we need or desire is produced by us – the working class Then some graphs and stats on distribution of wealth

January 30, 2016 at 12:51 am #116349alanjjohnstoneKeymaster"You don't own me"Came across this song and i thought you could use a clip from it for background soundtrack to the video…old enough to be out of copyright, i think, but even if it isn't, obscure enough to not be noticed even though there are plenty of cover versions. I think it reflects the values of socialists…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDUjeR01wnU

February 19, 2016 at 12:06 pm #116353alanjjohnstoneKeymasterOkay , you asked for it…For soundtrack, i'm a sucker for the Bolerohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Urfjyj4FnUcIt posseses that magical mystique and leads to an emotional crescendo and climax….
