    The Tories have no plans to reform the House of Lords substantially.  Yet they don't have a majority there.  they have 224 of 779 peers, Labour have 214, and the Liberal Democrats 101.  The Tory manifesto does talk of reducing the number of peers, but it's unlikely that Labour or the Liberals will accept any cuts to the number of their working peers.  Any attempt to undermine the Lords will be resisted by Labour and the Liberals (who remain in the legislature despite electoral wipeout). So, will the liberals accidentally realise their dream of Lords reform, since it is now their unjustifiable presence that marrs that chamber…

    This seems to have slipped under everyone's Radar, but unless Cameron creates a stack of peers, he's going to have a hard time getting contentious legislation through…
