Maybe this is off topic, but let me explain this in order to lay certain foundations: The first thing  that  you  must know and understand is the proper definition and application of what liberal and liberalism is, and second, you must understand what socialism really is, and what is the difference between a bourgeois party and a real and genuine socialist party,  and third, you must understand that the US is not an island, and  that the world is not flat, and that in others parts of the world there are peoples with certain political consciousness, in this world we have an uneven political development among the working class due to many historical and political factorsIn the US there are two parties which are both the same, and both represent the same social class, the same interests, and they support and defend  the class enemies of the American ( The peoples form south central and Caribbean are Americans too )  workers, and most of the peoples do not know the essential differences, and anything that is not in accordance with the principles of both caves of the bourgeois is called communism, even more, the members of the Tea Party, and Republicans  are saying that the president of the US is a  communist and many members of the congress are communists too, and some senators call themselves socialists,, and many peoples believe that propaganda. Inside the US the only one that know the differences are the members of the various tendencies of the Communist movement, .They are not only elderly peoples, they are young peoples who believe that lie. Any person with certain serious principles would never would like to be a senator or a president of the US, because he or she will be forced to turn himself or herself into a war criminalMy grandfather who was a peasant, and a small business man,  and at least he knew how to read and write, he knew the  differences, and he will never call any president of the USA a communist or a socialist, and he knew that the Soviet Union was not a socialist country, and that WWII was a fight among thieves, and that there was not difference between the winners of that war, and knew that there was not difference between the US and the Soviet Union, and he never voted for anybody. He renounced to his citizenship. He was never a militant of a socialist party and he never read Marx, Engels or Lenin. There are peoples with doctorate degree who do not know the differences Most workers in Latin America ( peasants and industrial workers )  do know the differences between both parties, and they do know that all the presidents of the US have been a bunch of war criminals, and that the actual president is not a communist or a socialist, and they also know that the members of the congress of both parties are also a bunch of war criminals. If Nixon, Reagan, or Bush go inside of a ghettos, or a workers neighborhood they would  be received with rocks, pistols, and burned pneumatic on the streets, but Reagan and Nixon have a library, and peoples worship them, as Noam Chomsky wrote there is not difference between Reagan and KennedyIn Nicaragua, Colombia, Dominican Republic, etc, etc,  there are more than 14 political parties, and for election most of them participate in the process, and in order to be qualified they only need some signatures, and a picture of their candidates, they do not need millions of dollars,  most of their members in order to be a members they must show certain political knowledge ( even that they party for capitalist reforms ) and some of them provide political educations for their members, their members make the campaign for their parties, and they have real membership in their records, they do not oscillate between one political cave to another political cave.Most politicians can talk on the radio and the television including the members of the communist parties, and peoples listen to them, and peoples know the differences between them, and politician in order to make campaign they have to go inside the ghettos without CIA and FBI agents protecting them., the members of their parties protect them.  Some socialist and communists parties have their own place where peoples can go to read their newspapers, and discuss topics about socialism or politics, and they provide political class and lectures  to the visitors and members, they are not open for election campaign only, they are open the whole yearPersonally I would call  socialists-communist the workers who are members of the World Socialist Movement, and others peoples will call socialist or communists the members of the all the Communist Parties divided in various political tendencies, and the liberals, democrats, republican and tea party will be called right winger, reactionaries, fascists, racists, religious fanatics,  and backward politicians.
