Like the US intervention in Haiti started a few days ago. They should go back to 1915 when the US government sent a military invasion to Haiti, to show them like little children how to comport themselves in a civilized way, and they fell in love with Haiti and stayed until 1934. Only zombies can believe in the lies of the US government, and its capitalist class.The politician do not mention the disaster produced by the Mining companies that are extracting gold from Haiti and they have polluted an contaminated all the rivers with Mercury and poison, and deforestation is another factor that produce enormous calamities when any hurricane hit the island. Every time that there is a natural disaster in Haiti, the USA use it as an excuse to impose more domination in that nation, and to invest more capital to exploit and steal the natural resources of Haiti. In this chaotic situation drug traffics toward the Dominican Republic will increase too.There is an intimate relationship between the gunboat ( also called Gunboat diplomacy ) and drug traffic, like in the old days when 'Encomendador", Priests, slaves, and Opium traveled together in the same shipAs historian Juan Bosh wrote: Caribbean is an imperialist frontier.
