I agree. At the moment the party is hidden behind a multitude of designs and logos. It should not be left to individuals and branches to decide which log to use.

Declaration of Principle 8 wrote:The Socialist Party of Great Britain, therefore, enters the field of political action determined to wage war against all other political parties, whether alleged labour or avowedly capitalist, and calls upon the members of the working class of this country to muster under its banner to the end that a speedy termination may be wrought to the system which deprives them of the fruits of their labour, and that poverty may give place to comfort, privilege to equality, and slavery to freedom.October 4, 2014 at 12:19 pm #87392steve colbornParticipantThe title The Socialist Party "of Great Britain", is distinct from the message below it!
October 4, 2014 at 12:20 pm #87393steve colbornParticipantOr perhaps it was the terminology "in" the message, one was refering to?

The lead sentence at the top has the Party going by the name of Socialist Party.
November 7, 2014 at 10:54 pm #87399AnonymousInactiveHere's a rather fuzzy screenshot of the Ad in one of the local Sussex newspapers. I'm told it's much better 'in the flesh'.
November 7, 2014 at 11:04 pm #87400norm_burnsParticipantJust wondering what that cost? Nice size – noticeable!
November 7, 2014 at 11:17 pm #87401alanjjohnstoneKeymasterWell done.Once again i have to say we should be spending more money in our advertising of meetings and of the party generally. In my experience, local papers are usually read from front page to the back page, particularly the classifieds, unlike the nationals when only a few sections get read and the other bits are merely skimmed. Also worth exploring are the local university/college newspapers.

The Ad appeared in Thurday's (Nov 6th) edition. A similar Ad appeared in The Argus, which is a paid-for paper, on Tuesday (Nov 4th).
November 8, 2014 at 9:48 am #87403norm_burnsParticipantThought the advert was particularly striking. Pity about the name.No doubt you know this, but the 'Leader' digital version can be seen here:-http://edition.pagesuite-professional.co.uk/Launch.aspx?PBID=6e6791f3-1f34-46e4-8072-e4e1fd19e277
